I recently got a Beaver 16" bandsaw. It was the Canadian version of the Delta 28-560. Initially it was breaking and throwing blades like crazy.
I took it apart, cleaned and lubed everything, set it up from scratch and got a new blade. The wheels had a bit of wobble, so I added some shims to take up the slack. ( it's got plain bearings) . I cut out a new insert from lexan.
It's been running perfectly through a few projects. It didn't come to me with a fence, so I fabbed one out of angle iron.
