Drives, fuel actually jumped 20 cents in the last couple days, so I paid 2.43gal this morning. After waiting over two hours for the quoted 1hour windshield install, that I made an appointment for, I wish I'd have paid the extra money for the mobile service. It cost me $164 for the glass, seal, and install. I did however have a couple other things I needed to do while in town.

I did a tape measure alignment this morning before I left because the toe was WAY to positive. It had a ton of bump steer, and scrubbed the tires hard when turning sharp, so I didn't feel safe driving it that far. However, I'm pretty sure I took to much toe out of it and like you said, being in the windy season here, it was walking all over the road if I had any kind of cross wind. I'll adjust it again by the weekend. Then next time my oldest son gets a chance, before school is out this year, I'll have him take it up to tech and align it for real.

Painted the bed Saturday afternoon. Like I said, the bed is temporary, so no body work, and just enough sanding to get the paint to stick.

Fryme: I'm guessing if your son is going to do some MUDDING or off road driving he'll learn quickly how to align his new truck. WON'T HE???

i put a hot water faucet out the front of my garage and looks like it might come in handy for you if you have a way to do one. it's sure nice when it comes to washing cars or washing off dirty new tool or machine finds.

sorry to hear the CHEAP GLASS replacement was a PITA, but more and more you get what you pay for and sometimes paying a bit more for a quality job done on time is well worth it. great that you had other things to do close by.

Yeah, drives, we been fortunate to have his older brother in the auto service program at tech, the last two years. But he's graduating in a few weeks, so the free alignments are over.

As far as cleaning up that mess, I've got a commercial pressure washer hooked up behind the shop. It's funny you mentioned the cleaning, and alignment in the same post because last night his brother came home and said "I'm not aligning that thing with mud all over it." So the youngest used said power washer on it last night and it's at tech getting aligned as I type this!

Once my shop is done I hope to have a project like that for my oldest who's about to turn 14. That should give him plenty of time

Wow, dude, you have done a great work. It's looking very nice, congratulations! I am right now planning to build a garage too. I am thinking about using concrete, but, I don't know which concrete sealer to use. Can anyone give me a piece of advice, please ? There are so many options on the market, that I am really confused. I am planning to use armor ar500, is it good ? That's my first experience, and I would be really grateful for any tips.
