As far as swivel sockets go, Nepros is better, but they unfortunately they only offer them in 3/8 drive size.

Gathered these for a group photo.

From left:

Snap-On universal with their shallow 6mm socket
KTC Nepros universal with their shallow 6mm socket
Ko-ken Zeal universal with their shallow 6mm socket
Snap-On 6mm swivel socket

Nothing willl beat the Snappy swivel socket for the lowest clearance.

For user-friendliness, I prefer the Nepros and Zeal universal mechanisms, which are both unique.

Would you recommend repro or koken universal sockets over snap on. I recently seen this(

). I like more information.

Lol I just posted the link you shared. Anyways you basically answered my question as I'm buying 1/4 drive flex sockets so no wonder as I kept looking I was not finding any. Do you think they might make some 1/4 drive down the line or are the 3/8 so small making 1/4 is not beneficial.

I have no idea if Nepros intends to make swivel sockets in 1/4 drive.

After watching the video shown above I would probably buy a koken swivel adapter. I use 1/4 for almost everything I barley use 3/8 that's why I have high interest if they made 1/4 swivel sockets.

I’ve been trying to order on Nepros.net and I cannot get it to work. I either get sent to an error screen or if I do make it to the page to enter my CC the box to hit submit is not working because the formatting isn’t right or something. I’ve tried on a PC, iPhone and Apple computer and have had this happen on each

Anyone else seen the new blue anodized Nepros tools?

Yup! They first did the Black iP series and now using the Japanese classic indigo blue colour, the Blue Steel iP series. It's double-nickel chromed like before, but with an additional, super-durable ion-plating surface finish.



Just found this image in google images comparing the Black iP and Blue Steel iP. Depending on the angle, the depth of the black/blue differs.

Thanks to all the wonderful information in this thread, I just recently ordered and received my first Nepros tools--a 3/8" socket set plus a few combination wrenches. They are fantastic! Thank you everyone for all the great information in this thread!

I'm now looking at their screwdrivers. For those who own the wooden grip screwdrivers, how are they holding up with use? Are they pretty durable? The look absolutely beautiful, but I'm a little hesitant only in that I worry about how they will look in the longterm after use.

Also, for anyone who might own both Nepros and PB Swiss screwdrivers, how do they compare to each other?

The wood handles on Nepros screwdrivers hold up very well. They will get beat up if you abuse them of course. Nepros and PB Swiss screwdrivers are both excellent. I also like Vessel screwdrivers a lot. I don't think you would be disappointed with screwdrivers from any of those 3 brands.

It looks to me like the wood was stained, then the logo and info were painted on and then some type of clear coating was applied. Mine have held up very nicely, but I make an effort to take very good care of them.
