Most anyone that follows my thread knows that I love to show pictures of the sun sets from our property. Going to change things up a bit and post a shot taken some years ago that has been overlooked. How about the moon setting over Vancouver Island, BC:

Thanks Jayman! Looks like from the data on the original picture, this was taken on or about January 17, 2017 so there was little to no smoke particulates from wildfires in the atmosphere. Attached is the Moon Phase for the previous days and after the 17th. Interesting information:

Should say too, it looks like the moon in the picture was full which would have been Jan. 12th. So, the date I have may be the date the picture was downloaded to the computer.

The idea of being a steward or custodian is very much a sentiment I subscribe to. If cared for properly, and actually used, these icons will outlast all of us and hopefully be enjoyed and appreciated by those not yet even born. Thanks for being a 'steward extrordinaire' and for sharing your journey with us!
PS: TV announcer guy needs an education. The transformers car is a 964.

Enjoy your 4 seconds ... former employer owns couple of Avanti's. When the tv station, The Nashville Network was starting out they did a little bit of anything and everything to fill airtime. They talked Avanti owners to bring Avanti's to Nashville to do a special on the cars. Owner got a VCR copy of the show and without previewing it, got everyone in the conference room and pressed play. They showed some footage of his cars rolling around Nashville and owner said "closeup interview with me should be coming up" ... unfortunately for him, when the closeup came up, the "TNN" logo was squarely on the owners shoulders, completely blocking out his face.

Honestly, think the bit on the Transformers was way overdone and yes, the announcer was reading his script and to use Nine, One, One as if it was an emergency..... Those on the outside of Porsche Speak would have no clue as to what a 964 is. For most, if it is not a SUV, then they are all 911s.
Thanks too for your comments on the T-Bird. Attached, a shot of it in the "Boulevard Trim." 3 Speed Manual Transmission with O/D. E code car too with factory dual quad carbs.

What a great shot of the '62 and '63 Vettes in the display from our collection on that day...

Odis, saw the 71 you posted in the pics. It is a gorgeous auto! WOW
This one is kind of a special picture. Made arrangements for the widow of the original owner to tour the LeMay Museum and to see their Porsche.
This was the first time she has seen the car up close and personal since it was removed from their garage. She is very appreciative of the effort it took to make it look as it does.
