Now that's a good deal and that should be regular retail since the cans are essentially single use IME LOL

After each use, remove the straw part and dribble some acetone through it to clean it out. Then put a few drops into the nozzle on the can to clean that out too. You'll be able to reuse it multiple times without issue.

A store in South West Indiana is clearancing out Keeper Ratchet Straps and replacing them with Reese. I only use Keeper straps and don't trust the others.
Best deal was the 2" by 27' 10,000lb straps for under $5.00.

Good tip. My problem with these is that, after the first use, they slowly ooze until they clog or empty out.

This is a stupid crazy price on 2"x27' ratchet straps. I was psyched to pay $7 ea and free ship thru TSC on BF. I had to resist buying any, my tongue box is overflowing plus what I REALLY need is more flat hooks, not the ubiquitous J-hooks

Around here the only mark downs I am seeing are $0.50 to $1. off regular price and most stores went from plenty to just a handfull. :wtf:

rule of thumb is do not take the sticker at face value. You need to take the item and scan for the actual price. Sometimes for whatever reason the sticker price is not up to date. This is lesson 101 for shopping at HD.:D

Just went walking around the local HD... They had those Windex combo things for $2.52 in the front area on a table. Still had some leftovers in the front too from the month long deals, mostly flashlights and a few other things they priced a little high that didn't sell well.

I went looking for that Bosch laser thing but they didn't have the GLM15 model, only 10,20, and 30 I think. They only had one 10 and no price on the wall so I took it to have price checked and it wasn't anything special. Oh well...

Was hoping they had those strip lights posted above, but no such luck. They did have a lot of stuff clearanced in the light area, just nothing I need or want. Other than that, I think Christmas stuff was marked down even more with what little was left. Forgot to check outside but I doubt anything has changed as they didn't have much out there last time I looked, it pretty much shuts down for winter.

Hmmm, I might have to go look next time I'm there. I always clean my sprayer out extremely well, but it would be nice to have a separate one for the garden vs general bug & grass spraying...

I don't. Should have clarified, I confirmed pricing and was shocked to see the system matched the labels. Been doing HD penny deals for years, and have been around for 3 or 4 of these threads.

It's been a long time that I wanted a tools chest but I wanted it on sale, the biggest one for the money... then I found on the web, a site that inform there was one on clearance at Home Depot few weeks before... I made research and found that there were 3 last available at one store... I called and it took a while before they finally found them. My wife and I were so excited to go to Home Depot to grab that big tool box that fit tight in my Caravan. We opened the two boxes and everything seemed okay except for the top cover that didn't close properly, like there is 1/4 inch not fit... I call the store and after few days, they told me that they are unable to find another one and I have two choices: returning it or they give me a $25. discount... Two weeks after, we turned back for the discount and surprise! The computer noticed that the the price dropped from the discount price of $300. to $124.95... so I that's what I paid for my big tools chest 42", Husky limited edition in blue metallic!!! The original price was $548...

Without sounding ignorant how do you scan it? Just at the self checkout? Doesn't that get annoying to the workers when they have to keep cancelling the items you don't want?

Nice deal! I'm guessing that the tool box has a warranty, correct? Is there an 800 number included anywhere on the box or packaging for warranty/support? If so, try calling and telling them about the top cover problem. If you can identify the part that is causing the problem, maybe they can ship you a replacement part? Or, maybe not if the box is made in China and spare parts are unavailable...

Tim, not at all ignorant, I was in your shoes at some point as well. As someone have indicated at the sco there is a price check option, once selected, scan the sku and you have the option to select either cancel or purchase - does not involve the attendant a bit.:rocker:

I don't recall seeing this option at Lowes but I don't frequent lowes that often.

Oh, hear is a Fiskars for 1.83. There is another version of this in a bronze metal for $2.83 if anyone happens to need scissors.

You're right Gamp945, I called the Husky customer service and because this unit is a limited edition, they don't have spare parts, only the universal parts, so... but for $124.95, I can live with my little issue... and I believe that I will find a way to repair it... if I could learn how to do welding...

In regards to Husky, they will almost ALWAYS defer you to the store that sold the item. Husky warranty/after sales support is a joke. I've had several locks break/fall out of the 52" boxes I bought last year. 2 locks did not have the threaded nut install from the factory. Multiple calls to Husky all had me contacting the local store which attempted to either exchange it or refund. Um yea, let me unload a 52" box, then haul it to a store to exchange it and haul it home, assemble it and then refill the box. All for a $10-15 lock.

I had an issue with a husky wall mount cab. Several of the pieces were not press braked properly and therefore it could not be assembled. Made a call and had 4 brand new pieces to my door in less than 2 days.

Good to hear someone had luck. Besides myself, 2 techs that work for me had issues with a 36 and 41 box. One needed a slide replacement and the other had the wrong keys for the locks. Same result for them "please call the store manager" when resulted in "all we can do is either do a exchange or refund"

I should add, they offered a refund months outside of the normal refund window for what that might be worth. Given that I paid $150 for a $600 box, not that upset but none the less their after sales support was pathetic on multiple occasions with 3 different people.

Also, I highly recommend opening ANY tool box at the store. I'm going on 50% damaged out of 11 boxed tool boxes. Either dented tops that I can't see how they were damaged in a undamaged box or dents from fork lifts even though I called myself inspecting the boxes while loading. Seems a fork lift punch through can cleanly cut the cardboard and then return to a flat position that is easily missed. 2 of the 52" top boxs had dents in the side below the handles. Thankfully a well positioned sticker covers the damage. Last Fall was good for deeply discounted Husky Boxes in this area. Not so much this year.

I got one of the 41" boxes for around $40 a few months ago. It was missing the bolts for the handle. One call to husky and they were delivered in a couple of days.
My only experience, but it was a good one.

I had bought some husky cabinets and the front door was dented. Called them and they shipped out one right away. Pretty good service to me!

I picked up 4 of these for $12.03 (one was display, the others were NIB). These are some seriously nice lamps.
