Well I've been kicking the idea around and finally got one. It seems to have made more space somehow. Not sure that it did but it seems that way...:beer:

Yep, well worth having. I have one from Greg Smith equipment with side extensions, gets used fo all kinds of stuff. The bike of course, lawn and garden equipment, welding table and a general workbench.

You will love it !!!!! keep in mind when you work on it the things you do are at eye level and when it's on the ground you will see it from a different angle. I spent many hours working on things that are never noticed while on the ground.

Yup! I'd sure like a table lift, looked at the Handy Lift, but it was 2K after delivery to my house...soooo, I opted for the Pitbull Motorcycle lift.
And even though it only goes up 24", it sure is better than lying on my side on a piece of cardboard trying to work on the clutch!

Looks nice. What brand did you get? I am looking to get one when my taxes are done.

I got the Harbor Freight 1000k lb model. Nice Garage by the way...

I have been thinking about that one for a while now. Are you satisfied with it? do you think the wheels will mess up a coated floor? I was thinking I may put something down under it if I do get one.

Thanks for the compliment. We worked hard on it. Now I just need to bring the welder and toolbox over and it will look more like a shop. LOL

Man I'm really happy with it. I can't get over how sturdy it is under a load. You could find some wheel replacements. The rears mount on a 3/8 or 1/4" rod and the fronts are typical turning wheels but all metal wheels. You could go to rubber or even better the new clear composite wheels. Or if you plan to keep it in one spot an industrial rubber mat would be fine.

I can tell already I'll be able to do things easier... I used to have the HF Aluminum lift and thought it was the best thing ever.

Very nice, you will really enjoy it. I finally decided to buy one vice building one when I came home after this last deployment.. One of the best tools added to my shop. In fact, i'm in the garage before work right now working on one of the bikes up on the lift :bounce:

First and foremost - THANK YOU FOR SERVING!

That's funny... I sneak in and out of my Garage when I get home. Then I'm back out there after everyone is in bed - then I get up an hour or so early to go tinker some more~!

On weekends I encourage everyone to "Hey - take a nap... I don't mind" :bounce:

Screen name of MXRACER but you have a picture of a H-D big twin in your avatar? I thought me and me were the only ones with two personalities. My moto-buddies don't get the Harley thing and my Harley buddies don't get the moto thing.
