Just went through this thread. Such a beautiful pro looking job. And such a HUGE shop. Very nice.

Hey, being in Southern California we don't have space for a garage like that, well at least most of us don't but I'm wondering about pole barns. Why don't the poles rot out rendering the entire building subject to failure? I assume(?) the posts are treated?

The posts are 6x6, the lower portions are pressure treated and and made for below grade.
