Hey guys! I have been a member here for quite some time, enjoying reading your guys threads and I thought it was time to start my own build!
As the title suggests, i have a weakness for the those silly looking mopeds without pedals. (for those of you that are unaware, MOPED stands for MOtor-PEDal bike, and NOPED means NO-PEDals)
Now don't laugh, these things will put a bigger smile on ANYONE'S face than any motorcycle or car will. They make you feel young again! I also dable in welded art (flowers, I'm a part time botanist)
Now onto the garage. Right now my wife and I live in Kansas City in a lovely starter home we are renovating to fit our dreams. Redone both bedrooms, living room, added a 30x12 deck, hot tub, front porch, and just finished the siding on the house! This includes a 9 x 18 TINY garage that has to house most of my toys & equipment.
The Necessities:
Elliptical,2 keggerators, fridge, work bench, dry goods pantry, tools galore - i run a construction company.
The Toys
Right now i have a 1981 Honda NC50, 1986 Yamaha QT50, 2000 Vulcan 800, 1985 Honda ATC125M, and a 1960's Motoguzzi Robin.
Now here comes the fun part! you guys have given me SO much inspiration, I'm ready to rock and roll on this renovation and do it as cheaply as possible, because I'm cheap. real cheap. My plan is to:
*Epoxy the floor (got it clearance from HD)
*Paint the walls & ceiling
*Paint the workbench
*Redo / Build new shelves & Pantry so it hides better, its an eyesore now
*Paint the lockers
*Rewire for more outlets, all 20A (i only have 2 currently)
*Organize the tools & put pegboards up, try to hide as much as possible / move larger stuff / gardening equip i don't use as much to my shed.
*Redo my computer on the workbench
*Add a small bar above both Keggerators to store Liquors.
