Preface
- First off, let me be very clear that I realize I’m new, I realize I’m not a moderator, and I also realize that I personally cannot enforce these rules, but I appeal to your sensibilities: if someone else has to work to keep this thing going it will definitely end up locked, but more importantly, it will be WORTHLESS. If you do not want to play – go away.
- Intent: supply quick, searchable list of misc. sockets
- Background: Started a thread recently for free bonney tools- recipient was ecstatic. Week following, I offered to buy a socket from a member, received it free: I’m ecstatic! Thus developed the idea: instead of trying to make $3 a socket, why not spend $3 and make someone’s day.
- Follow-up: This thread has been run by a few moderator’s and members, and garnished approval already. It was made very clear that rules must be in place, and must be followed. Edit: It had its own discussion thread to work out the kinks!
- Personal thought: I’ve put a lot of time and thought into this, as well as just cataloging my loose sockets to list. The ONLY replies welcome here are those which conform to the RULES and FORMAT you see below.

[*]Letter of the law vs Spirit of the law: The intent here is to help someone who is missing a socket out of a set that is in use. If you simply want a socket to sell a set- you belong on fee-bay, not here. If you have someone ship you a socket, and then turn around and put it on fee-bay for profit- you are the scum of the earth.

- Consider it a free+shipping transaction. Offering to cover shipping is the least you can do
- Benefactor
- Hope the recipient reimburses but don't bank on it.
Trade!
- Benefactor: no requesting a trade in response to requests.
- Recipient: offer a trade of your misc stuff to your benefactor. Keep the karma going!

but the new update looks sweet. i messed around with it a bit (didn't make any changes) and like it.
