Well, Im into current snap on tools of course as well, and make good use of them. The flex head 1/4 will get lots of great use, i love 1/4 drive tools! This is one of the 1/4 snap on ratchets I didn't have, so its a great addition to my tool box!

that true!!! the touring bikes are great but little heavier than other models on harley... you might try few choices like do demo rides when local harley dealership have demo day. you DON'T have to buy new harley from dealership.. there is many used harley around but be careful because some of owners dont care it what it suppose to be or just sitting too long... the harley are for rides and do shows if have good paints or lot of chromes... which it is my opinion. i has my 2003 road king classic for one year as i just bought it december 22, 2007 and it has 19,500 miles but right now it has 24,500 miles. i had lot of miles rides this year. i am still planning to do more riding on 2009 like go for motorcycle events or like Daytona Florida....

that is nice of your wife to tell you to get one... do you have motorcycle license?? if not then i would recommend you a Abate beginner motorcycle rider which it will help you a lot and if you pass the driver test and written test then you are licensed to drive...

that would better than being new rider. so you can learn quick around motorcycle as take it easy for first time then take it up by process. that what i keep learning to ride my harley.

74" ci engine??? it is seem low power engine??? i would like to have big V twin engine but not worth of money to me to do it while 88CI doing great to me...

yes a 74 ci engine........they vibrate more! if jasons wife likes 2nd gear it's because she likes the vibrations in the spot that touches the seat :bounce:

the tc88 has more torque and will pull a hill without downshifting, but my shovel (no it's not stock) will smoke a tc88 from bar to bar :bounce:

some of insurances companies will discount the rates if take the courses... i dont take course to learn it but i learn from my father when i had 1982 CB900 custom with 5 low speed and 5 high speed transmission. i learn a lot but fix it too much and took me longer to ride so i got sportster XL1200 Custom and love it. But when Wild Hogs movie come out and said Sportster are for chick so i traded it in for Road king classic... it is not that reason why i traded it in but reason is i am big guy and sportster is little smaller for me to keep drive... so i had to jumped from sportster to Road King classic... i am glad that i did it...

ha ha :spit::spit::spit: wow... no wonder why harley babes like a lot of vibrations from harley's engines...

if your shovel engine are stock and TC88 will pull better than stock shovel?? i am curious... i was thinking about upgrade from TC88 to TC103 but when i see the price, i was gasp and told myself "forget it" as just wait until engine are ready for rebuild then do it same time instead waste the money on good parts... i am planning to keep ride my road king classic until the engine need maintenance like time for whole engine rebuild...

But when Wild Hogs movie come out and said Sportster are for chick

i had a buddy who was 6'4" 200 lb........he rode a sporty. people always said you look too big to ride that, he'd smile and ask how they looked on their's. when they said "oh i don't have one" the smile would leave his face and he'd sat " STFU then". :lol_hitti

:lol_hitti:lol_hitti that is funny!!! i am 6'4" and 300Lbs. i had little problem with sportster as rear shocks keep hit each other when little bumps on highways that why i got sick of it. the XL1200 engine are strong and pull really good! i can pull myself out of TC88 or TC96 harley easy but i just dont want see sportster get hurt too much with big guy like i am... when my dad got 2001 Road king classic 2 years ago, i started to less and less drive my sportster like normal ride miles on sportster would be 1500 to 2000 miles but when my dad got road king classic, sportster get 700 or less miles a year. the weird thing is when my dad got 2001 Road king classic, i put almost 3,000 miles easy while my dad put like 300 to 500 miles same year... so that time for me to get myself used Road king classic.

I just opened my secert santa present, My girlfriend stole it out of the mail a wrapped it so i couldnt see who it was from, She is pretty sly that way.She told me that it came though. My secret santa was bushhawg73, He got me a 1/2'' vintage snap on ratchet. One of the really old ones that dosent have a reverse lever and you have to push the insert through to switch between fwd and rev. This is so cool. I never seen one that still had the insert still with the ratchet.I will take pics as soon as i get back to work. I was telling my snap on driver about these a few weeks ago and he couldnt believe what i was telling him, he never heard of it. Now he is going to be jealous of me and my new ratchet. Thank You BushHawg I appreciate it. And merry christmas to all
