I work at Intel, I fix the equipment that makes the computer chips, no camera's allowed. Yes I get to wear those funny white suits you have seen in the Intel commercials.

I envy you :) can you toss some intel gear my way - I've been contemplating doing a computer/gadget themed garage (its my #1 hobby) :)

Here's a pic of my old Office and boss... I'm no longer a professional dog chauffeur, I only deal with people now :)

My wife is an LPN at an OBGYN office. Its hard to believe how young some of their pregnant patients are...

I totally agree. I serously dont get why in this age there are 15 year old girls getting pregnent. This isnt the stone age, theres ways not to get pregnent. LOL

I do not have a picture of my office, but I do Sales for an Oilfield Service company. This means my office these days is in my Pickup somewhere between Ft. Worth and Shreveport. Its a job I love, I get to interact with people, since I do not golf I am forced to take my customers either fishing or hunting. Its rough but somebody has to do it.

Hey Greg are you going to be at IWF in hotlanta?

Yeah, I am actually going to be in the ATL twice this year. I am going to set up, work, and tear down IWF and Fabtech. I am not a huge fan of Atlanta (or Chicago or Vegas for that matter). I would say that Atlanta has the better workers out of the other two I mentioned. Are you going to be at IWF?

Here's some shots of our scene shop - it's about 18,000 ft. well equipped with wood shop and welding as well as lots of scenery storage. I'm blessed to have this work space so I no longer have a shop at home.

The large ring is a turntable we built from scratch chain driven - 46' diameter, sits flush with the stage sections we built and is variable speed.

The last shot is of a set we built in the shop and reassembled in a rock quarry for shooting.

Worked in power generation since the Navy. Your looking at the compressor and turbine of a 180 megawatt industrial grade gas turbine. This is part of what we call a major overhaul. The turbine is completly taken apart and inspected for damage including cracks. Takes about 30 days. I don't fix them, I operate them.

I've bought and sold drugs many times. Unfortunately for the consumer or the seller, it always ended with an arrest...:bounce:

Respectfully, why do you show your face? I'd think you would want to keep your face hidden in that line of work?

I quit working dope several years ago when I got promoted. Hell, most of the people I personally put in jail during that time frame have already been paroled and reoffended...

No pictures of actual work of course, but here's one of a jet I did a lot of work on, and another of my pride and joy. My previous assignment, I spent 5 years designing her. Quite the badass.

My official title is Network Engineer, but I'm more of a SysAdmin. Manage a bunch of servers for the Gov't as a contractor.

Are you in the city limits? I thought getting permanent tattoos was illegal in the City of Myrtle Beach. Seems like I remember that from the last time I went to MB Bike Week, but that was back in 2002...:headscrat

Tattooing was illegal throughout the state until 2006. Now Myrtle Beach has the only area zoned for tattooing in the whole county.

I knew it was something like that. Another thing I remember was the bars. Seemed like they didn't have real bottles behind the bars. They had assloads of those little airplane bottles. When you ordered a drink they didn't have to measure. They just opened the little bottles and poured your shot or drink or whatever...

I would love to get my hands on that beauty.

I am very impressed with the variety of people on here. I am currently in training in Tokyo to fly the 767-300ER for Air Japan, a sub of ANA. Got furloughed from my flying job in the US so had to leave the country. Going to do the monthly commute from the Northern Kentucky area to Tokyo. Not looking forward to it but it should be a fun job. Here's a pic. (Not mine by the way)
