The old stable

Hello all.
We bought our 1st. house spring last year. It's from 1931 and certainly needed a lot of work - kitchen etc. etc. Finally during the long winter I had some spare time to restorate the garage i've been waiting for, so many years.
Originally it was made to house cattle, but the last 15 years it was owned by a car-painter. He installed the spraybooth and raised the cealing to meet the building regulations. When we tookover last year, it was in pretty good shape but needed paint on walls and floor. I can't find the photos from before , but this is how it looks now.

This is my project, a 1978 Ford ******, probably not that well known in the USA but quite popular in europe.

Spraybooth is still there, but the controlsystem and heating is missing.

The silver car is also an old ****** waiting for a restoration

Had this little Honda 4 stroke minibike since 1985 and used it every day till I got my drivers licens. Had it up for sale a couple of times but luckily it never sold and now it's a keeper.

Had this one since brand new in 1978 and it's definitely the best toy I've had. Still runs perfect and puts a smile on my face every time I start it. Those small 4 stroke Hondas sound so nice.

Wow man if it helps we got a barn that was built in like 1910 around there weve replced a board here and then nothing is orrginal exapt the slab rock floor

Ford ******, oh yea, there are a million of them here in the states, they were a very popular economy car from the 80's thru the mid 90's . i think the current Ford Focus is it's replacement.

no matter what type of cars you like, you are still a car person, that all that matters.

by the way, very nice garage, I'm not a pro painter, but I would love to have a spray booth.

the bikes bring back great memories, I lived on honda dirt bikes growing up, then later switched to ATVs. the bikes are great examples and worth keeping. most of them are long gone by the way of a junk yard, rode hard and abused, mine included.

keep us updated on the progress of the restoration.

The xr75 rocks! Not my first bike, but i had one of those and a XR80. Many people would give a lot of $$ for that in that nice of condition. I'm jealous!

Yes I've used the spray booth a couple of times, for spraying my workbench, enginestand and some carparts. It has very good lighting in both ceiling, on the walls and in the corners. Another advantage is that if I want to spray some parts, I don't have to empty the garage or cover up everything to avoid spraying cars etc.

Yes I like nascar, but not a ******** fan. Like the sound - the speed and the cars looks awesome. Perhaps it's not the most hi-tech form of motorsport, but cool anyway. Unfortuanitely danish television never transmits nascar, and it's very rare on Eurosport too. I wanted a nascar banner and think this one looks good, that it's 48 jimmie johnson is a coincidense

I think the ones you've got are the newer front whell drive models (don't like). I like the old ones prior to 1981. They are simple cars to repair and great fun to drive, don't need big horsepower to be pretty fast.

I like the Trail 70, I had a Trail 50 as my first bike. That is a great set up with the both. Is that a central vacuum on the wall?
