I don't have a garage per say, more of a remnant of a garage. From the outside it appears to be a 1 car but unless you are driving a compact and planning to exit the sunroof you can forget about using it for parking. As a result it has become home to everything that doesn't fit in my 2 car garage sized apartment. It's not much, but it's home.

I have called this thread the one-day garage. Now you could take that to mean that my space is so small I could outfit it in a day or you could assume I am looking toward the future. Either way you would be correct.

In my mind, I am looking toward the future and plan on documenting some of the tools I am purchasing, and with a bit of luck, restoring, to outfit my future garage. Hope you guys enjoy as I have yours.

Now I really anticipated posting older tools, but I am going to start out with something new, a weekend find. I was cruising Craigslist when I came upon an ad for a 'hollow chisel mortiser', $5, no picture. I actually initially walked away thinking it had to just be the chisel not the machine. At the last minute I shot them an email and low and behold I received back a picture of this:

Needless to say, I skipped breakfast and hit the road.
