Paging X1-Mike! Post your orange bit holders!
I found this that I made a while back.

That thing is awesome!

I have all the parts to make two more but I want to actually make a video and post on YouTube. I've never done a How-to video so I'm trying to figure out how to do it in one take and make it easy and understandable. The job is understandable, I just don't want to over complicate it. Okay, I have to clean my work area as well. :lol_hitti

Here is a picture of the requested bit holder and the handles for the next two I’m making. The first one I made was just because my S-O guy knows I love me some orange and gave me the stubby handle that was left over from a warranty. I was trying to figure out what to do with it when I saw a locking bit holder on another thread. Next thing you know I found a bit holder and got to drilling.

I finally got around to making two more bit drivers and took a couple minutes to gather the family together. Some people may have quite a bit more than me but I think my customer drivers of which I have about 10 now are next level cool.

I should probably include a roll call.
Clockwise from the left:
1) 1/2" Breaker bar
2) 4 prybars
3) 45 degree ratcheting driver
4) 12" ratcheting driver
5) 1/4" driver
6) 10 piece screwdriver set
7) T8-T45 torx drivers
8) #2 extra long philips
9) Panel popper tools
10) 4 piece pick set
11) 3 pice custom bit drivers
12) Ratcheting bit driver
13) #3,#2,& #1 custom philips ratcheting drivers
14) Custom black shaft ratcheting bit driver
15) 1/4" ratcheting driver
16) Custom flat blade ratcheting driver (have interchangeable blades)
17) 2 gasket scrapers
18) Custom ratcheting speeder
19) 3 piece feeler gauge set (soon to be custom)
20) Valve core remover
21) Spark plug gapper
22) 2 in 1 mini screwdriver
23) Mini flat blade with magnet on other end
24) Mini screwdriver

you don't have the orange folding saw or the 12 piece mini kit?

That 12 piece kit is on my radar but they go for outrageous money the same as the 24" ratcheting screwdriver. As far as the saw, I don't think I've seen that one.

I have the new heavy duty carbon scraper on order, just waiting till it gets in.

That is really sweet. I've seen them in black and red handle but never orange. I guess I have a new tool on the list.

That is actually pretty cool.

I did add a CSSD1O heavy-duty carbon scraper yesterday to my collection. This thing is heavy duty and the fact that it's carbide and not as sharp should make it work awesome on aluminum. For me sharp scrapers tend to dig in a bit.

Of course orange was on back order so I waited over 6 weeks to get the orange one while I looked at a black one on the truck every week. :lol_hitti

It's a gasket scraper even though S-O calls it a carbon scraper. Perfect tool for use on aluminum cases or engine blocks. The carbide tip is precision ground at a 90 degree angle so there is no sharpness that wants to dig into the soft aluminum. It removes the gasket with the weight of the tool, the hardness of the carbide and the absolute square angle. A tech at work bought one yesterday and he was raving about it. I most likely am a couple months until I pull the cam cover off my bike. Snap On wants 60 bucks and I paid 53 bucks after tax.

I was going to buy this tool the next time the job came up but I couldn't pass up the orange hard handle.

I finally got the Holy Grail (my holy Grail at least) and I got it at a decent price. Not delivered yet but I'm pretty stoked.

I see guys asking $175-$200 for tore up drivers and I paid $133 for this one.

That’s not the Holy Grail, it’s Excalibur...

Showed up on my porch yesterday via FedEx. :rocker:

Full Disclosure: I bought it strictly because it's cool and didn't expect it to be the most useful tool but within 2 hours of getting it I found myself in a situation where one of those crappy small bit drivers would be my only option with almost no swing but then I noticed a small hole from the top of my dirt bike frame and in 15 seconds I had two screws out from long distance.

If you are only going to pretend it's a Light Saber, I'll buy it from you. I'm looking for a 24" like that. No color preference. Let me know.

Replaced the beat up soft gripped handle I had on my FH80 with a orange hard handle part # SDD5R1RO. It was $20 vs $36 for the hard handle that come on 3/8” ratchets. The hard handles that come on the 3/8” ratchets I feel are a little on the small size. Here is a picture comparing the two hard handles and a soft grip on my FHL80. The soft grip and the SDD5R1RO hard handle are closer in size. The soft grip in the picture is a newer thicker one.

Nice! I see you also have the Instinct handled drivers - how do you like the hard handles in comparison?
I'll be honest, the instinct handle is better gripwise however they are a bit of a pain to clean grease off of. I didn't have a Need for the classic hard grip but i have always wanted them and they where a good enough deal
