Princess Auto (Canada's HF - kinda) has a great sale going on this week. I left before I could spend more, but I'll likely go back tomorrow!!

Items below ranged from 75cents to $19.99 for the dent puller!

How much were the welding magnets? I saw them there on Sat but they weren't marked down at the time. Still thinking about picking up a pair of the Channelock linesman's pliers... 25% off.

$9 I believe, down from $14.99....it's a "Releasing" mag, you can turn it off and all the shavings fall off!

I have some of their normal welding magnets... They are not square. So, I'd say check it out before you do anything with it...

Good stuff e-tek !

Some great deals if you get there early. I picked up two 65 foot retractable air hose reels for $20.01 each. I didn't need one myself but I was very sure I could pass them along to friends. They had three available, I grabbed two of them and passed them along to some fellow car club members at cost.

I bought a 36" drum fan for $57. The link is for a 30" fan, I couldn't find a 36" model web link to match the one I bought. It moves tons of air around my garage but I found it too noisy in the small space I have. So I passed it along to one of the same guys for his business workshop.

I picked up a long reach puller for $6 and a mini-bearing-separator-puller-kit for $4. Cheap enough to toss in the tool cabinet for that once-in-a-lifetime future use.

I don't know how often they run the 75% off clearance merchandise sale. Maybe three times a year?? I saw one this Spring too. They do add 'new' stuff to the clearance section just for the sale. I went Friday night to scope out what was already on display. When they opened Saturday morning for the start of the sale, there were many things that weren't there Friday night. Including all the stuff I mentioned above and lots more.

I would imagine they do the same for all their locations. If the Stoon store has a clearance section in the back of the store, definitely check it out. In my city that is where the smokin' deals are.

having seen the mag "clock" wheel, has reminded me that I must make one of these one day using a "real" discarded mag wheel...I think its doable.

That's one thing HF and PA do right - no quible returns - no matter WHAT you did to it!!!

A battery you say? :headscrat

lol
Yeah, I even took the front cover off, aligned the needles proprerly(cause I could never hit 12 sharp when setting the time) and made sure the needles were securely attached to the shaft... It would then keep track of time for a minute or 2, and fall back to 6:30.

6:30pm is better as I wouldn't have to explain why I'm holding a beer bottle.
