Is while looking at something for the person you have, you decide that you think they would like it so much that you have to have a set also! :lol_hitti:thumbup:

Even if you get the person something that they already have, they can always put it in their secondary/road/trunk box of tools.

My guy seems to own the "Gates share" of heavy cast iron in North America. I’m not sure what more I can get him without doubling up. And he has yet to post in the helpful Santa area...

Pink doilies so his sig other will let him display them in the front room! :lol_hitti

This. No tool guy has everything....And if he says he does, he's lying....Because any REAL tool guy better have some extra tools in the garage, at work, in the basement, scattered in the yard, and a few extras to replace the ones you hit with the lawn mower.

I, for one, have a pretty loaded box at work...but I find I leave my best stuff there, and am always scrambling at home between the low quality and ultra low quality tools I keep in my basement. I've found myself buying MAC and Snap-on for home as well as work; Not as much for home, but when you're using the low quality brands, you'd kill for just one snap-on screwdriver...

I just went into my box and started pulling things out I think they would like. If I miss them I will by another for my self. I also plan on buying some new items. So far my S'S will be getting snap on, nws, craftsman, sk, armstrong, dewalt, and klein. Not sure whet else yet. I love to give. Heck may have to pull some from my plumb collection

I hate this shiot, they should limit Christmas to 1 week by law, like I want to shop and be a secret fukkin santa,,, hahahah

It's ok, some people are just not into it. I'm not wild about the christmas music blaring all over the stores while I'm grocery shopping but luckily they play it low enough that my hearing aids don't pick it up. :lol_hitti

But I like thinking of cool things that someone i know would like to have, and since this is a secret it makes it even more fun for me!

I'm not one to wait til holidays to buy stuff for people when i come across something that I think they would like, but Christmas is just a good excuse to go, "I got you something and you can't open it!" With them knowing full well that I always get them something they wanted! Maybe it's my way to tease them!

I'll admit, I bought a couple doubles. :D

I've got an idea for one more thing for my recipient... something every working man's shop should have.

I just placed an order for some Felo from Ash for my SS. I couldn't learn much from his posts so he is getting some Felo.

Glad I'm not the only one!

I actually found something else while shopping for the SS that I think my buddy would like to have and I might have to pull the trigger on another double order! LOL

In a man-shop, the corner around any trash can IS the trash barrel. Shop techs aren't basketball stars for a reason.

Band Aids? What man uses band aids!? Squeeze it til it stops bleeding, use a paper towel, or wrap it in a dirty, oily, greasy shop rag.

Fire extinguisher? C'mon. Those things haven't been re-charged in years! Blow on it, throw water on it (especially if it's an electrical fire) wave at it with a towel/grease covered/gas covered rags/t-shirt/use someone snap-on tool box cover/ just stand back and let it burn itself out

And finally, if you're able to dial 911, you're able to wrap a towel around the broken body part, use zip ties around a large crescent wrench as a tourniquet and/or splint, and drive your bloodied self to the ER like a real man.

No. It's sberry. :)

I, along with many others have acted as his interpreters.

Even I get cranky at times.
Sberry is my cranky mentor.

Gawd I've been on GJ too long.

LOL.

Heck, I;m sending super secret SS gifts to GJ members even though I am not their SS.

Oh yea.
