i have been slowly building a restoration business outside of my construction business and it has grown to the point that i need a blast room.my cabinet still gets used for parts, but i needed room to do a few large things that will be comin in the door in the next weeks.i started looking for a blast pot on ebay and other places and had no idea of the money,i was expecting 3 to 500,not 2500.00 for a pot.

this morning i luck out like a champ, this is on craigs for 100 or best offer.i call the guy instantly and make the drive,he's 30 minutes from me.it's missing the hose and the gun.i'm thinking about using this gun,i like this set up better than the ball valve type.i had a small 40lb pot and it had the ball valve type and it sucked.

but what i need to know is,is there a hose that's better than another on this set up?or are they using typical rubber hose in 1 1/4 I.D?

i'm stoked to get this thing up and running, the blast room build starts this week some time and next is the fresh air hood set up.

so who knows what on the hose?,and oh yeah,it came home with me for 80 bucks plus the 3 five gallon buckets of black diamond i drained out of it.

Im not exactly sure what hose you would need, I know I have a trinco blast cabinet, maybe you could give them a call and see what you need. Also in my area we have a "cross store" which sells parker and other fitting and hoses. maybe try giving them a call. hope it helps. Ive been looking for a nice blaster like that my self. let me know how it works out. good luck!
