Well been a lurker and learner long enough, time to start a build thread. Started last may on my dream build on my dream farm, 60 acres of mostly woods. Got a divorce last year too so timing was probably not the best....never been accused of being real smart!
Always called the first part of the farm I bought (21 years ago) the ranch. Added 28 acres to it 5 years ago and called the whole place whitetail acres but I think "THE RANCH" is what I will call it for this build thread.
This is where we started. Some tree cutting and driveway work. Got the girlfriend to help getting ready for power.

Things seemed slow going...if you remember the month of june last year in the Midwest. We had record rainfall of over 17 inches and the build site looked like this most of the summer.

The shell got done. Got drains in the garage and power ran into building.

Garage floor getting poured. I had the easy job of driving the buggy!

Is the entire building going to be workshop/garage or are you planning some office/living spaces in the "L"?

An old joke I'd guess you've heard - "Why is a divorce so expensive.....it's worth it!!"

Thanks Riley. Im planning on living in part. Working on rough plumbing and in floor heat for the part that's not poured yet.
