Hi guys (and girls if any?) !

Wanted to share my garage project with you! It is a small single car garage i have carefully planned for a while. After buying our first house the garage always been a priority to keep organised and looking good.

In the back of the garage, there is drywall, and the little lady we bought the house from, had planted the rear of her car into it. So i started to change it. Bought some insulation?(is that how you write it?)

The next thing on my list was of course the walls. I eventually chose something thats called Fibo Trespo plates. These are wooden plated that immitate a tile pattern. It has a clever interlocking systems and is usually used here in norway to build bathrooms, hence, it's waterproof :)

Welcome! Very unique with those tiles. Great for doing a spray wash in the garage. Looking forward to watching this develop.

I found the poster on ebay and had to have it! :D
I have not been able to paint the door yet, as i used a lot of time figuring out what colors i should use. Thought of going for the Gulf colors, but beeing an all out Audi guy, i am going for the red, black and grey colors of Audi Sport. Please feel free to make suggestions!

So, making the new garage looking good was going to be for my Audi S2 Coupé, as i sold just a week ago actually. I used this car mostly to trackdays and its been heavily modified to around 500hp.

Moving right along..
I painted the drywall after some good doses of plaster? (That muddy thing you put to hide imperfections on drywall)Brainlock, please educate me!:) Hung up my 'ring poster and an extension cord reel. You can spot the nice Ingersol Rand impact wrench on my workbench. Had a vacation in the US in 2012 and had to have it! It's a beast!

This was around christmas when I started to think, I do need a racing stripe across this empty white wall. Found my laser and tape to do some masking..

My girlfriend is working in a store that was going to change a lot of these white plexiglas sheets. I found out after i backed up my other Audi that i left a black mark on the wall, so i mounted these, and now its very easy to clean!
And this is it: the tape is still on there due to the fact that this photo was taken right after i painted it.

Next up was getting the wheels up from the floor. The wheels are 9x20 with 265/30-20 so the pegs need to be big. Bought some at a Fleet Farm like store and modded them to my liking.

Flooring:
When I first started planning my garage, I always pictured epoxy flooring. After realising I had to do a monumental amount to get it to my liking, I opted for Kiwi Tiles. RaceDeck and all those other brands are not available here in Norway, but the doesn't matter. After laying it down and the pain in my knees were forgotten, i really love the floor and the possibilities you can make with colors and patterns. I bought these first, and on my birthday some 2weeks ago, I got the rest to lay in the middle. The ones in the middle are perforated so any moist can get to the drains under these nice tiles.

If you see in the left corner, I did some re-arrangements there on the finished photo.

Around this time, it was getting cold! I mean, the polarbears got stuck! :p
After my conversion, it was 1,4degrees F, or -17degrees C

I then had to stop working outside and ordered the last few bits for the entry of my garage. I got this today, but after 1,5 hours at the gym, i will postpone this for tomorrow.

What a super cool garage. It could just capture one's heart. The tile boards are ingenious and I love them. Waterproof and easy clean up. The race deck completed a great looking place. My highest compliments to you! Look forward to your future posts!

Thank very much sir! :) I will try to post some more interresting pics. The tiles were costly, but in the long haul, it would save me a lot of grief.

One more of my daily driver. An Audi A5 2.0TFSI with REVO software and Milltek exhaust. The car taxes in norway are awful, it seems like the goverment hate cars. I gave as much for this as an RS5 costs in the US :wtf: Anyhow, i love the car!

I love the missiles sticker, that's AWESOME. The spark plugs is another nice touch. Anyway, you've done a very nice job.

I've never seen them here in the US either. Metric conversion say they'd be 23 5/8" x 94 7/16" (2' x 8' essentially). I could easily see a market for them as the install would be pretty simple, prefinished and not drywall mudding. What was the cost in Norway per panel?

You can see a video here:
It's in Norwegian, but you will see the install.
The price for a package containing 2 plates are 52 USD.

Looks great! I love the look of the extra wheels hanging on the wall and spark plug hooks are genius! Great color scheme too with the red/white/black. Looks racy.

Thank you! I was at first set on using light and dark grey before i started to look at your, dubber and Ricks audi double garage. Then I just had to have black in the color scheme. Was also wondering if I should get more wheels on the wall, I think I will not go for that option, but it could look cool!

A nice upscale result on the floor! Looks like an automotive showroom. The wheels display is a great effect. I am quite impressed with your setup.

Yep the original large diameter wheels and only 4 of them look perfect. It is so fun to play around with different options though.

It certainly is! The big ones are 20" and the small ones are 18". Summertires on both of them. Dreadful vintertires now, not so fun :)

Thanks! Had to make the best out of what i got! :)

@dubber: Urk, yes it was awful to let it go, but hey, now i can look for a trackday car! An R32 would be awesome, but too expensive! The Porsche wheels, or Eta Beta Turbo as they are, was a challenge to get a hold of. Had to buy the rear wheels from UK and the front wheels from Germany.. They are 8 and 9,5x18. Always wanted those! Im a wheel-***** :p

Yea i can imagine it was tough. As for the wheels I've got a few friends here who have built similar custom multi-piece porsche twist wheels very classy and sporty at the same time.
