After a three year stint in California we moved back home to Virginia. Our house was a few months behind schedule which involved us living in our 5th wheel for longer than we expected. We finally closed on our house at the beginning of November. The movers can and went. I had planned to hold off on building the shop for a little while but my wife was not pleased with all my stuff in the house garage, so I started shopping around. I found a steel building contractor in North Carolina that would be able to do it all. I decided to go with a 30x40x16 with full insulation (I did the insulation on my previous shop and never quite finished). I had a few small hiccups with the permit but the concrete got poured Christmas Eve. The garage will mainly be used for all of my hobbies. I own a motorcycle shop as a part time gig for money to fund my hobbies. I will be building a 10x30 loft in the rear for storage and have an office up there and hopefully some room to set my trains up. I plan on about 3 motorcycle lifts and plenty of work benches. There will be much more to follow. Thanks for looking, Tad
