Had to get some items at the local orange big box store and wandered around for a while. Came across a Rubbermaid Big Max shed that was $150 off due to box damage but told all pieces are there. I needed a reason to get the yard stuff out of the barn so took it home with me.

Started with the ground prep:

Wow got the picture thing to work after too many years not knowing how..

Well I had this great idea of building the shed in the barn but after the walls were up I realized it would be too tall to get out so pushed it out and added the roof

Now came the total redneck part. I used the forks on my Kubota to pick up the shed and put it on the pad out back.. This was not a well thought out plan and I refrain from showing the public the crazy set up I used to pull this off. Note to others these are not meant to be picked up

Got it to its location with out too much issue other than that nice light you see in the pic. I lifted the shed and tore the light right off the wall. Good thing I had conduit bender around..

Shed in its final home

There was no damage from original purchase and little issue with putting the thing together. Hardest part or at least the most time consuming was removing the protective paper off the plexi glass windows. once I got off my **** and got the heat gun this was a much easier task. These retail for about $650 so at $500 it was a bit of a deal. For those needing some quick maintenance free storage it would be hard to beat

Oh year the wife beat you guys to the punch line about having a giant barn behind the dinky shed. You never have enough room. I am so glad she puts up with me...

That looks good, what size is it? I've been thinking of something similar to get the lawn mower, snowblower and other garden **** out of the way. Re. tore the light off the wall, LOL, done similar. Where in NYS are you, I'm near Buffalo.

Hi 52 I am near Ithica.

It's 7'x7' I was able to fit:
Small John deer snow blower
Tiller
Pressure washer
Troybuil leaf vac
Little giant blower
Gas water pump
Dozen assorted shovels rakes tools
Back pac blower
Hose reels
Some other junk.

This is all on the floor with nothing up on walls. They sell wall mounts to hang stuff but they cost almost as much as shed. I was happy with the space and the double doors

We moved a similar one a mile down the road in one piece. Talk about redneck, I feel you. My buddy is moving so we put it behind my shop temporarily to store some of his junk. I have a feeling it will store my junk once he moves.
