Thank you!! Being from New England I grew up on a small farm with a 100 year old timber framed barn that’s still standing today.. my sister owns the property now…so I had to build my own traditional timber framed Barn.. the shop is definitely my happy place, and has been a great space to work on various projects and hobbies. Of course it just about stuffed full.. my wife wonders where it all came from and I just have to shrug.. I’m a sucker for a deal. lol.
My wife and are contemplating downsizing in the next couple years.. we said we need a smaller house and a bigger shop! Gotta love her! lol.
I'm hoping to increase from this 44x44 to at least a 50x60.. not sure, due to lumber prices going through the roof the last couple years, I’ll be able to go timber framed Barn again, but I’m hopeful.
I visit GJ almost daily, but I haven’t really updated, or even visited this thread in a couple years. Glad someone found it entertaining again.
