I don’t have a working remote yet, so that wouldn’t do it.

Back doesn’t feel worse than yesterday, at this point I will take that as a win. I am up at the Hill, I wanted to try a heating pack, then using the inversion table to see if it made a difference. Worth a shot at this point.

My back hurts just thinking of your back.

Is this like when women get on the same cycle?

I haven’t used ice yet, the muscles are tight and the swelling is handled (somewhat) by the Advil. We did get the trailer unloaded, I am going back in to do some heating and then more inversion with a bit of stretching. Most of the stuff from the trailer is junk, some is useable, then there are the military crates, not sure what is in them, I think they are full of 18k pound 24 volt warn winches, at some point I will open them up and see.

Also got the burb unloaded, now I have to sort through things a bit.00954d44897843894de143052a11f06e.jpg

I aspire to one day have so much junk that I don't know whats inside containers. Just load up a spare truck and send it downhill to the west Strouty. Please and thanks.

I agree, go home, get upside down and stretch out. If that doesn't help then I agree you should hang from a crane.

Out of all the things you may have a crate full of, not tower parts, but 18k 24 volt winches. If you needed to find a home for one of those... let me know when your grabbing that trailer in MA.

I spent the last couple hours sorting through the boxes and pallets, I eliminated or consolidated about 5 pallets, but they also asked me if I wanted a few other things, so I am back to a **** load of stuff. There must be a couple hundred thousand security tags and pins, also getting a bunch of label printers and some of the alarm upright sensors that they put at the doors in a store. I am sure that I will make my money back, but I am also sure that it is going to take a while and there will be a really big mess for a couple weeks. :(

The back is sore, but not ridiculous, hopefully I can get some more upside down time.7f75eb209838a1a413b1065c1e45bcdd.jpg

After seeing what Strouty has done with his, I realized I needed one, I finally bought one..

I know it's just another toy for my grandson and I to play with.

Hope your back gets better.

I like that style truck, it won’t rust out.

Tags, tags, tags, I will sell, sell, sell. I really think I can pay for the entire lot with just the tags, let alone all the other goodies. Tapatalk is down, so I haven’t been posting pictures, but I will update later, GF and I went to the SG to organize the rollers and unload the burb, made some room, should be able to get the pallets inside tomorrow, I may have to stack a couple.

Jeff, I do come across that type of stuff, but randomly. I probably have a bunch of things stockpiled, but then I forget that I have it when I actually could use it. ;)

Been at the Hill for about a half hour now, I had to gather tools, now I am heating and then hanging on the inversion table. My back could be a lot worse, but I wish it was a lot better. :(

I have a feeling there is going to be multiple trips today, but with the suburban, tons of loose stuff on the pallets and I am not sure how well it is going to strap down, luckily it is all back roads to the SG, so no highway travel.

You need a heating pad you can use in the Suburban as you go back and forth. Good luck today!

My bank asks me to call ahead if I need over $5k, but it is usually do to the fact that I want hundreds, twenties are almost always available to pick up the slack. Weird on the reporting, I thought $10k was the threshold? When I bought Perk, I had to got to two branches to get $18k in hundreds.

I don’t know why people still rob banks
They dont have any cash

Few years ago I dropped by a branch of my bank to withdraw $2,700 to buy a car and they didn’t have it.

And a couple years after that we needed $6,500 to buy a car and I had to go to three different branches to get it all and it was mostly 20s

$6,500 in twenties fills up a shoebox

Should have seen the look on the guys face when we dumped out the shoebox on his kitchen table for him to count.

What’s the contraption on the front of the Dodge ?
Some thing for tower erection ?

Doesn’t look like a plow , but I live in Georgia and don’t see snow plows often.

Must be where you live. They probably have a certain requirement of what to keep. I just took out a sum inbetween those two numbers and received all 100's without any issues at the first bank I went to.

Legend, I was in Perk all day, just got home so it was a full 12 hours of loading, driving, unloading, driving, loading, driving, unloading, you get the idea.

Round, that is a plow on the front of the dodge, it is a big fixed blade, then there is a setup for a wing as well.

Today was productive, glad I spent the time yesterday cleaning things up. Apparently I can’t count, I kept thinking there were a dozen pallets of stuff, well we load 18 on the trailer and had to come back for more. There were 25 pallets and some miscellaneous stuff, plus the compressors. Needless to say, the SG is good and stuffed.

We got all of them inside and there is still a little room left. ;)

First load:

Then some pictures as we slowly stuffed the SG:

I didn’t get a picture of the full second load, but picture another 8 pallets.

Then unloaded the compressors at the Hill.

Thanks Kay, hopefully I can get one running soon.

Fire, the Quincy is my spare parts from SG, most likely it will end up in the Quonset hut so we have air.

Last night I got a bit of adjustment out of my back, but it causes a muscle spasm in my leg, that lasted for a good 20 minutes, that pulled on things pretty bad, so this morning I am worse than I had been. Heating now, going to hang upside down and see what happens. I am starting to feel like a vampire.

Also, my virgin arms got fried yesterday so they burn and itch, oh well, it had to happen sooner or later. ;)

I think I'm finally catching on. You're not in the tower business. You're in the tower AND salvage business.

And yes I know its in the title of this thread, but seriously, have you considered doing it for a living? Is it compatible with the tower business?

Perhaps you're already doing it as a business and I'm a dolt and didn't realize, but you do have a knack for accumulating and (sometimes) selling things. Hopefully for a profit.

Just thinking out loud here. Hope your back cooperates enough to let you get some things done. -Eddie

Yep no "Manual Rack" for Strouty we need "Diesel powered Hydraulics"! I loved the line about the yelling, now I have to figure out if you really meant the GF or your back. LOL! Do your 'Burbs not have heated seats? They do help with minor back stress, if they aren't there/still functioning there are seat cushions with heat and massage, I doubt they would make it worse. "Hang in there" we're all pulling for you! Harry

Someone has to keep you entertained. ;)

Besides, now I have the Hill, more points to connect and move stuff too.

Back is pretty crappy :( I just picked up the last few things from the warehouse, now I am trying to find some vinyl so we can cut lettering out for Perk, need it for Sunday’s road trip to pickup the cool trailer that I bought months ago. I am actually dreading the next few weeks, can’t wait until June, things should start to feel like a vacation after that.
