Guys are working on the roof today, I finished the chimney removal so it is below the floor, not taking it any further for now.

I moved all the brick out where I am planning on dumping fill to expand the area behind the shop, setup the dump trailer for the trash coming out of the house, about to start moving things into the new office space to get them clear of the construction.

I have the office layout figured out, will need to tweak a few things, but I fit everything that is needed. It isn’t ideal, but it also isn’t too cramped and there will be plenty of space for everything I need, including the photocopier. I only had one small cabinet that wouldn’t fit and I will need to either find another top for one cabinet or trim the existing one to fit the space. I don’t think that is bad at all, I was worried that I was going to have to remove a file cabinet and a bookcase, glad that didn’t have to happen. ;)

Other than the floor and wall paper. ;)

I had a quick stop at the SG, now I am at the tower site, we are cutting and clearing for the big crane to come in when we take down the big tower. Also going to take a little tower down, probably do that this week.

I plan on starting at the top, the roof is almost flat, should be fairly easy. I am planning on using a hammer drill to break things up, should be more controllable that way.

I needed the ramp truck to pick up the new forklift tomorrow, of course I have to unload it, just some old mushroom anchors.

Have a full trailer load of hazardous ****, some can be used in the waste oil furnace, some is going to have to be disposed of.

This morning we got the photocopier down and into the house, it was a process for sure. Didn’t have ability to take pictures without ******* off the help. ;)

Over at the tower site now, my Bro and Cousin are taking done some trees so we can move an old office trailer, then we are tearing down the tower. I have been working on removing all the weeds from the rain garden (fancy drainage ditch). I think I will be able to plant the plants that are required to be in there this weekend.

That was the radio shack/outdoor storage closet. This is the office trailer and no I didn’t take it. ;)

After we knocked the tower down, I planted all the attic dwarf willows in the rain garden.

I am now back at the Hill, checking things out, guys that are working on the bathroom took my fancy chairs out of the back bedroom again. I replaced them with two fold up metal chairs and then put the fancy chairs in the shed. If they take them again, I will have to say something to him, I just figured removing them and putting them in a bedroom closet would be all that was needed to make him understand that I don’t want them used as job site chairs. I also don’t think he understands that I use this house, they left tools in the sink and on top of the toilet. Oh well, hopefully they will be done early next week.

What, no video? [emoji22]

I’m thinking about 10 sets of 3 shape charges evenly spaced up the tower would make for a good video.

Planting looks good. I think maybe your plants would do better if you mulched them. It will help them from drying out and also keep erosion down. I assume the rain garden included an erosion plan too? Do you have a pile of mulched tree parts anywhere? or do you have a chipper you could use to make some? Didn't you just say your brother chopped down a few trees?

I dislike when workers use my things. People do not respect stuff like I would like them to.

The first time was my fault, they were in the living room looking like chairs to sit in. When I moved them, they went and dig one out and moved the other two. To them they are just chairs, but you would think that me actively putting them in another room would have been a hint.

There is video of the tower, just have to get some time to upload it. When I do, I will try and get the other video of the first tower uploaded too.

I am eating my food from the other day, should have just taken it home, but I had boxes of stuff to move into the office, they already had sawdust and insulation all over the place. Apparently I am just to picky.

At least they didn't eat your food. My work had to put up food stealing signs and realign the office camera to monitor the refrigerators.

Your dinner looks better than mine. I have the last of the leftover curry. I always make too much and have to eat it for days.

For the rain garden, there is mulch in there, but it will need to be refreshed, especially around the plants. I figured for now, just get them in and get them watered, will try and get mulch in either Sunday (prefer not) or next week.

Had to unload a trailer, move a forklift, shuffle trucks, and drop off my last Hummer H2 wheel so it can have the tire mounted. Now I am at the tower site loading the pieces of tower onto my trailer.

My Brother and I will be going to take a camera down from an old observation platform across town, then we have to mess with the ladder on the side of the structure, it will be replaced with a new custom galvanized ladder so that it won’t rot like the current one.

Hopefully today will be a relatively short day, I need a bit of rest, I have help tomorrow and want to make the best of it.

Now I need to unload the trailer at the SG, then get some lunch, pick up my Hummer wheel, go back to the tower site and water the plants, pick up some blueberry bushes and then go home. Hopefully all this will happen in a relatively timely fashion, I also have a “virtual Doctors appointment” mixed in.

Reloaded with some blueberry bushes and a mower, still haven’t used the mower, maybe next week. ;)

056d03e9f81dec50373df216db7be53b.jpg

I don’t remember if I had shown my water system for the plants. Cheap HF shallow well pump, water tank, hose reel, and a generator. Almost time to refill the tank, will do that on Sunday.

All unloaded, ready for lunch!

Dude! cut a few of those down to the proper height, paint them a cool color, get a glass top and you have instant postmodern end tables!

Use two for a coffee table.

Cut to the proper height, weld a base on, paint a cool color, get a glass top and you have instant postmodern bar height table!

Repeat all steps using two for a base and you can get a dining table.

Floor lamps?

These would sell. Embrace your inner Martha.

That is the artistic hoarder.

So much for an easier day, just finished loading wood and my Brother’s tractor, getting ready to leave, completely soaked, between the humidity and the rain we got, yuck. :(

Tomorrow should involve some pallet racking and probably a wood stove exorcism.

Yup easy days, I think they are a myth.

Ordered four rims, one came damaged, just got a replacement. Now I have four tires and rims mounted and ready for installation, if I ever have time. :(

Working at the Hill today, shuffling things around, got to get ready for the snow.

Also contractor doing house seems a bit out of touch, might have to do the rest myself. They have a piece of 3/8” drywall on the ceiling butted up against the 1/2” that is the rest of the ceiling, not sure how they are planning on matching or blending it. Then in the bathroom, the electrical box they installed is so crooked, can’t even comprehend how it got that way.

Bad contractors are the worst! It’s one thing to pay someone to do it, but they should at least do a good job.
