I am using the “dump” as a place I pay to get rid of things, everything is dealt with from there, they don’t bury it or anything, I am sure it gets recycled in some form. The tires are cheap enough when they fit a car or pickup truck, but once you get to truck size, it is not cheap, especially if they have old rims, so for the sake of time, this is the best route for me to take.

Cool. That's what I was thinking you were doing. So that is like what we call a transfer station here? Local, pay a fee to drop off and then they sort and dispose as appropriate? Being a single guy, living in a townhouse, I don't really create much trash like you guys who have a shop and businesses that generate larger items to dispose of.
It's a business expense, right? Love taxes.

I brought my new Milwaukee M18 light down to the Quonset hut, it is awesome, my old one only had one big light, this one has three individual heads, plus it will not only charge a battery, but runs on 110 volts too. I may just buy another one. This is what it looks like inside while it is pitch black outside. Keep in mind this is a 50’ by 100’ foot building.
With two, it would be perfect.

Nice, that light works great. 110v and battery is good. Personally, I need bright light to work. When it's dim (basement or garage) I struggle to concentrate and get anything done. I think my mind is working so hard to see, that it stops functioning on the task at hand.
Glad you have a place near by to dump stuff.

Clean up of the Quonset looks good. Empty shelves and way too much empty floor space to drive the fork lift around in.
To be fair, the floor is only that empty because I drove things outside, but it will be much better once I am done. The wood and tires are the keys to making the most room at this point. I can probably consolidate all the wood and a lot of the tires are ready to be used.
I wrote up a plan yesterday, already forgot it.
Will have to review my notes, there are a few things that I need to concentrate on for sure. Looks like I have a good run of weather through Wednesday morning. Even after that still looks good, but i need to be ready if it rains.

Almost 2 tons of tires that time, so far we are about $500 in, a real bargain as far as I am concerned. Now I am working on getting the old pallet racking torn down and hopefully loaded up to go to its new home, worst case, it will be stacked outside and delivered another time.
I am also going to take a load over to the tower site today, there are some special brackets for the tower that can be stored in the barn over there rather than in the Quonset hut. Also need to deliver the Hy-Ram so I can set that up, if it rains on Wednesday, that might be the perfect job to get started on.

Going to be much nicer in this place again without that stupid racking. Next thing is the wood, then things will really change.
I am sweating like crazy, it has to be close to 70 out, a bit warmer than normal for November.

Enjoy the weather, snow and cold is supposed to blow into my area tomorrow.
Got the trash trailer loaded, about to start loading scrap steel, need to get a couple more things loaded on the 550 for the tower site. I also need to go to the SG and pick up my partially filled oil tank for waste oil. I want to start draining some of the random barrels that are floating around before they rot and leak everything out. Seems like there are half a dozen that have something in them, won’t know what until we open them, may have to remove the heads to do that as the bungs are very rusty.

This morning I should be able to get the rest of the stuff loaded for the tower site, before I head over there, I am going to load up some scrap steel at the Hill. I want to have two trailers ready to go for Monday morning, that way I can get that over with relatively quickly, especially if I am at the dump by 7:30 when they open. I need to figure out what to do with the Virginia burb, it needs to get to the SG, but I don't have an easy way to move it yet. I think I may have to spend a little time on Monday getting the new tilt trailer functioning. Biggest issue is that I don't have electric brakes setup on Perk yet, I bought a fancy brake controller that uses air pressure from my brake valve to operate the electric brakes, but I can't seem to locate it and they are currently on back order everywhere. On top of that, they are almost $400 and I am mad that I can't find the original one.
Anyways, the weather is supposed to be nice through Wednesday morning, after that it looks like some rain, then dry, but cooler temps. I can live with just about anything but snow.

I'd argue with you on the snow. I'd rather have snow than rain, especially if the ground's frozen. But I'm with you that I wish Indian Summer would last through next weekend.
Will be interesting to see what this year does, last year was more rain than snow to start, then it was lots of snow. Sucked because the ground didn’t really freeze, so when we did have to plow it was more like resurfacing the road, but in a bad way.
My list of what needs to be loaded/done before heading to the site was exponentially longer than expected, so I am double checking things, I can’t afford to keep going back and forth between locations.

The guy that took the pallet racking had some nice used oil, was worried about the container, but it made it back and is inside waiting to be emptied now. He will be a decent source of oil for sure. I just need to setup a transfer tank system so I can go and pick it up.
The hy-ram has a few cracks in the frame that will need attention soon, once this job is done, I will have to address that, assuming there are no other issues, won’t find out until I hook it to the Mitsu.

It was the same here. Almost wasn't worth plowing last year. Probably the same again this year.
Got everything unloaded, trying to load up the fence parts now, definitely would be easier if I had two people, crane is a no go as it is too far to reach for loading on the trailer. I want to load the fence, then try and hook op the hy-ram and see it in action. That way if there is an issue, I can jump on it Monday morning.

The hy-ram is alive, works well, probably take a day to break up all the concrete, not this day, but some other day.
I had a bit of a hydraulic oil leak, turned into a bit of a shower, not quite as bad as the trie water, but I got a bit on myself.
Need to get things strapped down, but I wanted to check out the hy-ram so badly, had to interrupt what I was doing.

Well, I out fumbled myself, the oil tank is tucked in beside the F700 crew cab and I don’t have a booster pack here, thank you Snap On and your sub par booster pack. On top of that, I can hear the mice inside the dash of the F700, so I need to get on that ASAP. I hate mice.

I had mice in my motor home, tried the Irish spring, they ate it.
Returning the rented “temporary” fence from the tower site, one panel is damaged, they say it is junk. I told them no problem, I will take it with me. Guy says I can’t, liability issues, so I told them to cut it in half, at least he is doing it.
I felt a bit like a dink, but I wasn’t letting them have the panel fully functional.

I don’t blame you.
If they’re going to charge you for the panel, then you own it. If they won’t give it to you, then you have the right to get proof that it was destroyed. Otherwise, there’s nothing stopping them from slapping a new skin on it and putting it back into stock.
From what I can see, that frame is fine, it just needs a new skin. I would have put it back on the truck and driven off.
