I would recommend getting tested, and if you test positive, then you likely qualify for the infusion, which helps a lot.
Are you vaccinated?
I was vaccinated, and still got it when my 4-yr old brought it home from preschool. I got the infusion right away, and I had a fairly mild case... although it still sucked. I never had a fever, and didn't lose taste or smell, but the sore throat and cough really sucked, along with the fatigue and lack of energy.
I qualified for the infusion, since I'm diabetic. The infusion did seem to help immensely for getting over it quicker.

Good luck, I hope you get better soon. If you do start feeling worse, don't piss around, get into the hospital and get some help.

I call dibs on the knuckleboom truck(s)!:cool:

Would it be considered crass to drive a car hauler to the funeral?
If you were a real gentleman you would offer to take the casket ON the car hauler, thus in one shot saving some money and giving him a send off suitable for his passions:cool:.....And be in pole position to pick the best of the 'burbs!

I would be willing to give Guido a good home, and to help his siblings be placed into the foster care of my immediate male relatives. That way they could all get together regularly.

Get well soon.

I figured we would forklift him up, then pass him over the Burbs from knuckleboom to knuckleboom then slide him down a ramp made of trailers.

You guys are killing me!

As for being tested, I did that, it was positive, I woke up yesterday to essentially no smell or taste, but it came back by dinner time. I could schedule a PCR lab test, but then I get the CDC on my back. At this point I am quarantined and that is all they would do anyways. I wasn’t vaccinated, but apparently I am now. I am going to test again soon for giggles. One notable thing for me was my heart rate had been elevated for the last few days, it is back to normal now as well, it was never scary high, but it was higher that normal and I could tell. Honestly I feel better, like it has run its course, maybe that “S” isn’t for Strouty, is there a phone booth nearby?

It is like Voldemort, I don’t want the ministry of magic to get upset….

My GF says feeling better is probably the quiet before the storm. :(

My wife had pneumonia with it and it knocked me down for about five days pretty hard. It took me a few more to get going decent again. I don't want to do that again.

My friends that had it said the monoclonal antibodies infusion helped a lot. Watch out for pneumonia, got to catch it early.

My GF is watching me like a hawk, I am also being situationally aware, I will keep posting as things change, I find it interesting. I have several people around me that have had it and every experience has been a bit different.

I had the monocolodal infusion, and it did help a lot. You have to do it fairly quickly after you get covid, so don't dilly dally around.

I took another test for giggles, still positive, I will be curious how long before I test negative. I have two more tests that I can use over the next few days. I feel about the same as the last couple days, no real problems.

Just curious where you got your tests and how much were they?

Might be something interesting to have on hand....

Gad you are feeling better or at least not worse.

I thought of you when I saw this shipping container advert on a pop-up.

It sure is cool looking!

You could just fork tons of stuff in and out of this version! I do understand space/access/orientation of you storage area/buildings might preclude this type of container.

There are some really cool conversions that people do with Conexs, they are really expensive right now, a 40’ high cube used to be about $3600, they are now about $5500

Damn, the good stuff always has a price.

Meanwhile in California they are just dumping them in neighborhoods. How come that doesn't ever happen in your 'hood?:lol_hitti
