I am actively working on not hibernating him, it is a very stressful process and I think as long as he gets heat and food, he will continue to sleep a lot, but come out to play and eat. They keep Punxsutawney Phil up "due to his busy schedule".

I had to swap to an insulated sweathshirt and add a neck warmer and windprooof hat. There have been flurries going through, the dang wind is freaking awful. I am almost to where I can feel good about tomorrow, just another hour or two.......

I really didn’t get any great pictures, but the excavator asked if he could do Tuesday instead of Monday, it messes up my Wednesday plans, but it will be much better this way. I still worked until about 6, we had some flurries or squalls, just a dusting here and there. Random pics until tomorrow.

That house is so far into limbo, I may end up with it at some point. Without a lot of time and money it can't even be sold.

I am stumbling right now, the dang Army dump won't start and I accidentally left the booster pack outside last night, so it isn't up to the task. Of course it is in my way, I am going to see if the other one will start, but those 2011 batteries may have finally given up the ghost.

I had a couple top post group 31 batteries in the shop, swapped them out and the Army Dump fired up like normal (crappy). At least I can get it going now and use it, I will be needing it this week, then I have to bring it back to the Hill so I can start cleaning up there.

I still think your weather is drunk and down here in South Texas man. Corpus- on the water, 45' and feels like 38'. I do appreciate all the stuff you're taking care of. I inherited a mess, same family- over 100 years now on the same spot- my daughter and grand kids live in the house my grand parents built, I live in the original "farm house." I need to take a week off, rent a dumpster, take a deep breath and just start using my front end loader.

I just ordered a hundred gallon diesel transfer tank, it is clear that I am going to need it to fill things up, the five gallon cans are gettign old both at the fuel station and dispensing...

I am as ready as I can be for tomorrow, I am excited to get the gravel, plus move the tower project one step closer to the final approval (three years later..).

I had to bring the water tote inside, there was about two inches of ice formed all around the outside of it, don’t want that to pop. I am about done for the night, have to get up early to go and pick up another “thing”, no details yet, but I am sure it will add to the winter prep aggravation. ;)

I also test fit one of the bags, I was worried the rack system we built years ago was going to be too short, but it is perfectly fine, these bags are actually smaller than the ones we used back then.

I do have one, but since I was running only two batteries the wires don’t reach where they need to go. I may give the batteries a charge, there was a wire hooked up that isn’t usually hooked up, not sure if it could have drawn the batteries down, but it is worth a shot.

Got the augers moved onto the trailer, it is actually warmer now than it has been most of the day, almost no wind.
