I would suspect that the mouse piss would be what is holding the valves open. If I get a chance tomorrow I will take the valve cover off and see what is moving and what isn't. I figure some mystery oil will be the first step, then maybe a tap or two with a dead blow hammer and a block of wood. At least the lower end is free, with all that extra oil I bet there isn't a spot of rust on anything either.
Tomorrow I am going to look at another forklift, this one is similar to another one I bought, but has a diesel engine, higher lift capacity and a crazy tall mast. It is too tall to haul without removing it (might get away with taking the pins out and tilting it, but probably not. Timing on all this is terrible, but I think if I can beg borrow and shift (not steal) things around, I can make it happen and then unload some of the other things. In the end I will have the forklifts that I need at the locations I need them without having to haul things back and forth a lot. Also when I get them up to my standards, they will all be worth far more than I have invested, unlike the DVDs
