I have almost always worked around the weather, so usually when it is good I am trying to do something, too hot or too cold and I slow down significantly. Fall and spring are my most productive months, I will probably take some time off for Christmas, but it is supposed to be 40, so not too much time.
I did pull off the tow bar, just so it is clear, the tow bar is to tow the forklift, not for the forklift to tow something else. The pintle was frozen up and tweaked to one side, got it back to working order. I am now working on the e-brake valve thingy, I don't have the proper wire, but I can get it locally today, so I am going to take a quick trip for that. If I can get the e-brake to work, even with a bit of temporary voodoo style wiring, then the forklift will be much more useful. I will have to address the forks, I might just be able to throw the extension on for now, not ideal, but could work. I suspect that normal things would be fine, but trying to lift something that is not normal will end up making trouble. I also need to address the fuel line, it is about four times longer than I need and has a tee in it for some unknown reason, I put a little glass filter in there for now, but ultimately I want a canister filter, for some reason they removed it. Now that the toolbox on the rear is accessible, it needs to be modified, the lid won't open enough to stay up, maybe one of those gas shock things would be the best bet. I have to remove it temporarily anyways to install the receiver tube, but like I said before, not today.
