Just about any tin knocker should be able to make that flange for parts cleaner. Company that does stainless for commercial Kitchens would be a good bet. Not that you want stainless but those guys make some good looking stuff.

Almost didn’t have enough battery to dump the trailer, that would have been fun. Charging it now, I need to change out the batteries in both dump trailers, I have some nice deep cycle ones that are newer just sitting around.

I need to build myself up a nice 10k PSI hydraulic power pack. I want something that will handle multiple rams or whatever I want and have a large reservoir, also has to be able to handle double acting cylinders. I think this is the better way for me to go rather than a dedicated pump for the press, it will be more useful to me for testing cylinders and things as well.

10,000psi, that is some danger zone pressure, one slip and you could fill your body with hydraulic oil. You need GPM not Pressure
to move them big cylinders.

All my enerpac type stuff is 10k PSI, even my Milwaukee cordless pump does 10k.

I bought a few more trinkets this morning, will have to pick up most of it next week. I did take a few pieces of round stock, a small grinder and a couple drill bits.

I talked with the hydraulics guy, he said that the 10k is way overkill and the only reason it is used in the enerpac systems is because they are generally using smaller pumps and orifices for portability. At least that was the way I understood his explanation. He showed me his shop press and I think that I will be able to get away with 1500 PSI, he also said that you essentially need 1 HP to get about 1 GPM of flow, so he thinks I would need to have a decent sized motor to get the high flow. I have to do some more research on valves and ask more questions later.

I have a couple more tools to grab, the 3500 is full of fuel, I will check the fluids, then I am off to the rotating cabinet adventure. Meeting at 9, would love to get back to the Salvage Garage with enough ambition and daylight to unload them, we will see. Only eight cabinets, could take an hour per, could be way less than that. Could even be that they are too much for me by myself, hopefully not, that would be a let down. I have moved a lot of things, fingers crossed.

They’re heavy right? Nice you were able to wheel them out. I was usually moving them down stairs and into a minivan.

If these had been on a second floor, if there was no elevator, I wouldn’t have even bothered. That would have been an all day project for a couple people.

It is a nice 50 foot truck, any closer and you can see what it really looks like. ;)

I forgot how bad it is over at the Salvage Garage after dark, going to have to install some lights, can’t see $hit. I will have to regroup tomorrow afternoon. I did get the truck unloaded, but I need more light to use the forklift. Maybe I am just making excuses, I just don’t want to unload the trailer tonight.

So far I have made a mess, change directions three or more times, and thought I could get away with moving one of the military forklifts with a low tire, not.

Next I have to add used gear oil and transmission fluid into the Blurb, then I can get it out of the shop and on to something else, maybe a forklift tire? ;)

To be fair to myself, I knew it had a leak, but the tire was hidden by tall grass, so I really didn’t see how low it was, the second I got moving not only did I know it, it was also too late. I am going to bring some tires and rims from the Salvage Garage anyways I think I have four or five of them.

Ramp truck is back together (leaking and cluster facked transmission lines, all together and done right, Blurb has fluids back in and is ready to move out of the shop, I put the batteries from the other military forklift into the one with three wheels, my buddy is working on the starter for the Hyster. Plan for the afternoon is to go to the SG and unload those new cabinets, then do a few other things. We will see what the afternoon brings.

Luckily the battery cable we just made up for the starter on the Hyster is long enough, but the other wires are all too short, also had to fight one bolt, it was really too long to work with this gear reduction starter, but it also had to be that long to make it through the adapter to get to the threaded part. Almost done, so almost ready to head to the SG, the plan is to get all the new cabinets into the trailer so I can set them up, of course half of them have an issue with the system that keeps tension on the rotating part, so I am going to have to fix that before those ones get installed. I think there is one spring and one keep plate that is missing, I suspect I can make the plate and find a spring, but it might not happen this afternoon. The cabinets either need to be lifted up a good ways or laid down on their sides to fix this part, otherwise you can't get to it. I would like to fix them before they even go into the trailer, but I also don't want them to get wet and I do not have enough room to put them inside the SG, there are a few too many things in the way right now.

We have about half the cabinets installed in the box trailer, I think they will all be in tonight, just no drawers or shelves yet. Jack stand stopped by to grab some tires and help a bit, once we got inside the trailer three was a crowd so I kicked him out. ;)

how long before we here "I need D rings on the trailer, that I cut off".

How do you keep track of everything, where every thing is? All the "suppllies" for the future builds you fill the the trailers with.
