I feel for you. We are dealing with my M-I-L who has turned into something of a closet hoarder: I HATE HOME SHOPPING CHANNELS! There is no lie, an entire room in her home filled with lock-n-lock storage containers, all brand new in the box. And she basically keeps ordering this mess.

You could try blocking those channels?

I wish that was the case Prospector, I have been going through boxes of files that had mice in them. :(

It has been a hot nasty nightmare and I still have about ten boxes of paperwork and another ten of photos to get through. A lot of stuff is trash, then there is random ****, then tangled in the middle is important stuff. I figure it will take me the rest of the year to get through everything, at least once it is all in the new office, I have AC. The house is roasting, at least I have the forklift that will lift high enough, so I don’t have to take one box at a time up the stairs. Two flights gets old quick in this heat.

I am slowly going to get myself back into the groove, so posting might pick up a bit, I just didn’t have anything interesting to post and any pictures would just be downright embarrassing, it looked more like a mouse habitat than anything.

I remember when we started this process, all plastic file boxes, all had lids, then when it turned into everything had to be out of the office ASAP, we ran out of local plastic file box supply, so we went with the cardboard bankers boxes. I was purposeful in placing the plastic boxes at the bottom and cardboard on the top, but as the office situation dragged on, we needed things and had to dig and my system went south. Once there were cardboard boxes on the floor, it was all over.

Right now I am trying to make a space for a table to go through the worst boxes, they have all kinds of things that we want to save, but everything needs to be cleaned before I bring it up to the office. I am also transferring anything that looks like it had mice in it into another box, making sure I don’t accidentally transfer a mouse to the new space. I am also dealing with rain, so probably not going to get much moved today.

While forced organization/cleaning isn't fun, it's also a really good way to actually buckle down and get some necessary work done. Otherwise it's too easy to procrastinate and push it out to another day. In an emergency, like flooding, or in this case, mice, it's amazing how much work a guy can push through and get done.

Hopefully this is a short term necessary distraction, and then Strouty can get back to our normally scheduled content.... forklifts, knucklebooms, heavy duty trucks & trailers, and hopefully at some point, those neat payloaders!

I'm thinking at the very least you'd be forked.
Speaking of...

Have you heard the one about the three guys who got captured by cannibals? The cannibals were going to torture and eat them and make canoes from their skins. However, each got one last request. First guy asked for a gun, shot himself in the head. Second guy asked for a knife, slit his wrists. Third guy asked for a fork and stabbed himself all over while shouting, "screw you and your canoes!"
