I really haven't done too much, been busy with unrelated ****, I bought another 53' box trailer that I do not have room for yet. I was waiting on some rims for the new yard donkey, got both, now I have to swap some tires around. It is pretty hot this week, today I loaded a bunch of wood and steel from the box that I started crushing a few weeks ago, that was this morning and then this afternoon I put the dock in at the camp. Last week I bought another rolling file cabinet system, this one was local, not really sure why, but anyways I now have a lot more shelving, still have to get the rails from the floor. I am waiting on the facilities guy to coordinate with that. I am going to try and do more paperwork the next few days, working in the AC is a nice break...m

On top of all that, our refrigerator is dying and we had to source a new one, found one that was “in stock” and was supposed to be delivered tomorrow. Got a notice this morning that they cancelled the delivery due to inventory and rescheduled for next Tuesday. Now I have to figure something out as we have no fridge or freezer, just a big annoying “cooler”.

Uneventful holiday, still have all my fingers and both eyes.

I really have not been doing anything that looks like progress, just got the new fridge delivered yesterday, of course it was damaged but it works, so we have a few days to decide if we want 25% off or a replacement. As long as the door seal isn't messed up, I think the 25% off will be a nice bonus.

The Salvage Garage is still a mess, I am there now, just trying to see what I can actually do to make things better. Looks like I am going to have to move half a dozen vehicles to get to some tires I need for the new yard donkey. I really need to make some space for the new trailers, but I need space to do that...

25% off the damaged fridge would be nice, I think the last time I got a damaged appliance they offered me $10.
I was surprised as well. I would have jumped on it, but it is a bottom freezer and the dent is on the side of the drawer, I want to make sure that it didn't compromise the seal or anything before committing. It looked good this morning, but I want to give it a bit more time. If the seal is messed up, I am sure we will see some ice issues around the perimeter since it has been pretty humid.

I bought some more stack rack this morning, pleasantly surprised that is was 4000 pound capacity. There were more of the bases than uprights, but the price was right. Turned out they were buying scrap too, asked about steel case batteries (forklift) and they told me 24 cents a pound and they will come get them if I can load them. That is a no brainer! Now I need to gather them all up, I have one at the Hill that needs to be removed.

Today is not as hot, going to finish loading the dump trailer and take it to the dump. Also need to drop off a server rack I bought, it is going to one of the tower sites for now, all I need is to get a server and internet, that's all...

I think server rack in this case is referring to computer/communication equipment. There is a specific rack thats allows for mounting of that type of equipment. Generally there are two vertical beams with hols spaced out. Each item for the rack has tabs that bolt onto the holes.

In a way, pallet racking for computer equipment. Roughly 18" wide and various heights.

I just had some fun, brought Perk with the 13K hyster to the Hill. I guess I have not hauled it up here yet. First time it was in pieces with the mast removed. The last time I hauled it was down the Hill with the mast on. In order to be close to legal height it has to go back a ways on the trailer, apparently too far, the rear tires unloaded on the first major curve and there is was. Unfortunately I had tried to save it and steered weird so I was not in a very good position to just back straight down. There was no pulling forward, just sliding to the side. I made it back down and in one piece, I was actually dumb enough to try it again, but as soon as I started spinning I stopped and backed down the easy part. It is ready to unload tomorrow, luckily the forklift should drive up the Hill on its own. Enough fun for one evening.
