So which one did you drive? Glad to hear that Perk is up to the job.

For expediency, will will use a large crane, tower is 180’ tall, so not that tall. The other one is even smaller at 100’, that one we will be taking down like a tree.![]()

What kind of chainsaw do you use to drop a 100' tower? Good luck.

Are you going to take some pictures of it for us, maybe even videos?![]()
I have a video of one that we took down a few years ago. Basically we pulled the wires on two sides out while letting the third one out so the tower was leaning way off center, then we cut off the anchor head on the single side to let it fall like a tree. Except it falls into the trees and we then had to drag it out, but it wasn’t too bad overall.
Before you start the diesel swap make sure the frames are the same. For some reason I am thinking the front frame rails are different. I know they changed the 1500 and 2500 and I am thinking there is something with the diesel. I can't remember exactly.

For what it's worth, if you're looking at diesel motors from Parhump Nevada, I'd be careful. If I miread your post above, ignore this.It isn’t a paperweight, I can drive it.
I don’t want to tear it apart and then have it become a paperweight, I looked at what it would cost to have someone else do the work, would be a bit over $4k to have the motor replaced (including the motor). I can have another running burned shipped from Nevada for a little bit more, I want to make a diesel, that is why I bought this one and I think I am sticking with that. I want a couple weeks to think about it. The F550 is probably my next target now that I know it isn’t the head gasket. I need to figure out if it makes sense to just change the oil cooler and EGR cooler now, the cost for the parts is about a grand, but the labor won’t change much as it looks like the top of the engine has to come off to get to this coolant leak.
