Oh there is always drama.............

Good and bad. The drama draws the readers the bad part is you get whipped about by the tail of the drama.

Trying to buy a new boat and everybody wants to sell me a used one. But I want one spec'ed out to my needs.

Sorry I missed you this summer we had wanted to get back to Maine. Maybe next year I will come see your new dock with my boat.

Looking at the DJI Mavic 2 Zoom, it really makes sense to buy the remote as a package, I am going to spring for the 1 year damage coverage, definitely more likely to damage it as a newbie. Plus interference around some towers could be an issue too, you never know.

I agree. I also bought the damage coverage. I would have bought the intelligent remote as a package, but it wasn't offered yet.

I am slightly torn over the zoom versus the pro, seems the zoom would be very useful, but the low light and high quality of the pro would also be a nice thing. For the people with the zoom, do you use it a lot? Anyone have a real life comparison to the pro?

Today was another day that it felt like I got nothing done, I think my expectations are getting excessive, we all know they are generally unrealistic. ;)

I am going to bed early tonight, tried the last couple nights and failed miserably. I can tell I need the rest.

Just made a deal to buy another knuckle boom, it is a bit bigger than my current ones, will go nice on OMO, just need to get my Dad’s boom off of it. Probably won’t be able to pick it up for a couple weeks, but the guy is willing to hold it for me. It is a four plus hour trip, another New York purchase.

Oh there is always drama.............

I have a rule. My place is a no drama zone. I haven't had a migraine since the ex and I divorced. I am not going back to that. After I kicked Steph's mom, and three aunts out of the house the figured it out too. Much more fun for them to visit now.

I remember reading a book on organizing, there was discussion of a type of person that they called a “Conquistador of chaos”, I think I fit that bill, in some ways I thrive n it, in other ways it is killing me.

This week, for the second time, my CPAP machine has used all the water from the humidifier, I just can’t figure it out, but it is crazy. Usually I have half a tank left when I wake up. Need to figure it out, waking up dry is not fun. :(

I hate the water **** in CPAP's. I have been on a CPAP for over 11 years, after the first month or two of using it I have gone without any water in it! It is so much better when you get use to it.

I used to think that way, but the machine I have now regulates humidity pretty well. Until the last few days. :(

Without water, I dry out so fast, it hurts my sinuses.

I mis-spoke. (In my defense, I had just driven 12 hours from Chicago to Atlanta towing a 24' trailer)

I have a Pro, which takes great photos and video.
But the lack of a zoom feature has been problematic in some situations.
I'm using it frequently to take photos / construction photos of commercial property my wife's family owns.

If i had it to do over I would choose a Zoom instead of a Pro.
Certain situations where I'd like a closer photo but don't want to get 'that' close.

After researching things, the best option would be to have both, but not an option right now. I am going with the zoom for that exact reason. I can keep looking for a deal on a pro, seems that I can use the remote for either, just not both at the same time.

Not sure of the company’s name, just a concrete guy.

Yesterday was not a very productive day, I am trying to make up for it today, don’t think it will happen, but I am going to try. ;)

So far I have setup the desk and my computer, haven’t touched the copier yet, but I have a smaller printer that should get things done for now.

This afternoon I have someone that is looking at the Mohawk lift, it is clear that I need something bigger anyways, why let it sit forever?

Oh man, I wouldn't want to let a Mohawk go unless you are upgrading to a bigger Mohawk. Best lifts on the market hands down, no doubts, no arguments.

What capacity is it? 9k? Dad's 10k will hoist a heavy single axle dump truck 6ft in the air, but they make 12K and up models for big rigs like OMO.

It is a TP-15 or a 15k capacity. I am going to be buying a set of column lifts, they should be more versatile for me and I don't have to lose a dedicated space. Also they can be transported easily and I can use them outside on a slab as well. Only issue is the upfront cost, but I think it will be well worth it long term.

Much to my surprise, the copier worked well without any messing around, color me surprised, but very happy. Next step is to run the cabling a bit better, I ran a 50' cat 5 cable directly to it, works for now, but would be destroyed or a trip hazard way too easily.

You can get a simple wireless adapter plugged into your printer and print to it from any computer, after you set it up, which is really simple.

I will have to take a look at those, the copier tech basically told me all the wireless options were no good with this unit and to avoid all kinds of problems, run cable to it. I suppose what you have suggested is simpler than making it a "wireless printer", it would just replace the ethernet cable.

I am off to register some vehicles, going to be another expensive day. :(

Does the clerk ever roll their eyes when you walk in with 12 trucks to title?

Luckily it was only two titles and three trailer registrations, I also had all the title paperwork filled out and ready to go, still took over an hour after a 45 minute wait.

I should have taken a picture, but forgot, or maybe I was too distressed, I come back to the Hill and my with suburban is outside with a tarp over the door, it won’t start, not even enough juice to roll up the window. Yesterday dad came up to get the chipper, it was still hooked to the burb, this afternoon he came up to get something else, he must have left the door open so the dome light was on, because he couldn’t get it started. He told me he pushed it out with the skid steer. :( looks like there is no damage, but definitely could have been bad. I went to get the battery charger, but the knob was broken off, so I walked up to get the booster pack, can’t find it, WTF, look everywhere, no luck. I start second guessing that I may have left it on the new trailer and it is in pieces somewhere between Massachusetts and Maine. :(

I did finally find it, also got the burb started, charging the battery now. Booster pack was right in front of me, must have been the red camouflage that made it disappear.

I hate to admit it, but this was easily a good 20 minutes, 10 of it was slight panic.

On a good note, I sold the mohawk lift, should be gone in a couple weeks, not that it was in the way, but it will be nice to get some money back. I did half cash and half trade for repair labor, he has a diesel repair shop and is pretty knowledgable. Funny part is that I have known who he is for years, but didn't know his skills, will be a good contact for the future as well.

I am tempting fate, I borrowed the ramp truck again, hopefully it won't act up. Pretty sure it was an issue with **** being sucked up from a really low fuel tank. We had the fuel sender replaced and I am not sure where "empty" actually is, between that and the extreme slope of the hills, it easily could have sucked something up. Hopefully it was a fluke, no codes were set and the next morning everything seemed fine. I have driven it 15 miles so far and no issues, also been letting it idle just to give some extra runtime before I get out on the highway. Picking up the third Baker electric forklift that I bought a couple weeks ago.

Also been struggling with a bunch of stupid things related to the removal of the big tower, there are lots of moving parts and some seem to be seized up, others are moving like they should be. I need to get everything in sync so I don't end up with a mess.

I just unloaded the big winch from the F-550, plan is to try and run it around a bit, then I have to figure out the brake noise, it also needs an inspection sticker. I would like to rework a few things on the rear body as well, just figure driving it for a bit will probably give me some ideas.

Well that didn’t last.

Check engine light this time, sputtering and lack of power. I am going to let it sit for a few minutes and see what happens. Wish it had happened in town and not on the highway though.

I limped to the next exit, filled it with fuel, definitely not out, I am getting something to eat, maybe cooling off will allow it to run for a while longer. :(

Well, that sux. Sounds like it has a bad filter or an obstruction in the lines. I hear dropping a live grenade in the fuel tank will fix it.

I would love to do that.

At least I got the forklift, it would have been worse if The truck had died before I got the forklift. ;)

The one AM seat drug deal went down without a hitch. Got two more keys and a keyless entry fob. Seat looks to be new, will look closer tomorrow, but clearly it wasn’t used much. Going to bed now, I have to be up in a few hours.
