They said since they were short staffed it wasn't something they wanted to get into. I know the guy that used to handle all the smalls, he left after finding out that they were messing with his hours (yes, in a bad way), I have never seen them do anything really bad, but I have to take his side. It also sounds like this may be the last auction like this for a bit as the location they use is being sold for development and finding another spot may be tough.
Most of my smalls are usually under $100, I make it up in volume, I generally do have a few things that will bring more money, but it is hit or miss, I have always "cost averaged" the sales and generally it works out, this one is going to be a one item auction, so we will see, might be better just to haul the trailer to the scrap yard.
