Its 6.5, a day doesn't go by without fuel issues. Things are picky, use a lift pump from a 93 and make sure its not China made junk from some random parts store.

I am going to use what I have for right now, I know about the 1993 high flow pumps, will have to locate a couple.

It is 27 here, and Goldfender doesn’t have the greatest heat, going to be fun ride to the SG.

I agree, 18 is a bit much for right now, I will stick with 27........

I took a load from out front to the scrap yard, made things look a lot better, now I have to go and get Perk and the 20 ton tag trailer, I think I can get all the forklift remnants and batteries out of the yard today, of course scrap has dropped substantially, but I don't want to store the stuff for the winter. That will get me cleaned up enough to plow if I have to, then from there I have to move some trailers and trucks around to really make things work for the winter. I plan on working through Thanksgiving to get this done, it is supposed to warm back up into the upper 40s, maybe even the lower 50s. The long term forecast shows possible snow, but overall, it looks like I will have next week to work with as well.

Time is running out for sure, but there's a bit of time left, and with you over the hump, you'll be able to get caught up. Just don't overdo it and relapse.

I am going to be running trucks back and forth from the Hill to the Salvage Garage, also have to take the Maroon Burb to my Buddy’s shop so we can get it functioning as my backup truck. I figure if I get it done by dark, I will be doing well. The update with the pictures will have to wait until tonight.

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone.

Day off? I am still working, almost done, tomorrow looks like a mess and then Monday may be as well, plus the temps are supposed to be down, so that means any slush/snow will hang around and I am not ready!!!!!

I know I promised pictures, but it may have to wait until tomorrow morning for the updates, depends on how I feel tonight.

Good news on snow front, Monday looks like out to sea according to guessers but they still won't rule it out. Also sounds like Portland area won't get much tonight. I on the other hand have a winter weather advisory, plow goes on tractor before it starts today keeping me from doing other stuff that needs to be done. Funny how winter sneaks up on us every year, you'd think we would be used to it by now

I would have been ready except for the almost three weeks I lost with Covid, oh well, at least I am naturally vaccinated now......

Walrus, I hope it doesn't get you too hard, I am expecting just enough to make things miserable, looks like it could be some slush, then it gets cold again, so it may just be yucky, I don't expect to be plowing anything, so that is a plus.

Start of the update, gravel is done, blue Burb running issue was lift pump and the heat was one stuck thermostat, so both those issues are fixed. Yesterday I moved four burbs and brought Perk back to the Hill, it was a productive day, plus there was minimal traffic.

Here are some random dirt work photos:CDB524D4-F642-400B-B871-FD99ACE2CC3E.jpeg30F93335-F081-40ED-AD7C-07499054DF7A.jpegACDFA5DF-40C8-47C3-BA33-314DFE13B7DB.jpeg90878267-72A4-4387-BF50-F95FCC13A152.jpeg6A29CDC3-FFF7-4707-B849-6CB398AEDEE2.jpeg460777A9-319F-4E65-9F22-E963A2CDCA7C.jpeg

One cool thing about moving all the burbs yesterday was that I found a near perfect steering wheel for the blue Burb, that was great!

EA9B2B80-72C2-43BA-B7D5-A84CED909633.jpegThis one doesn’t run, so I put it way out back at the SG

Dropped the maroon Burb at my Buddy’s shop.

This one runs, but it lost a brake line, so I had to tow it.

This one is going to get hauled over on Saturday, at that point the Hill will only have my DD Burb, the blue one, but there are still a couple of fire trucks, so I feel that offsets things.

I don't think it was 20, but I will find out, enquiring minds want to know......

Just dropped off the last burb at the SG, also got the F-250 delivered to my Buddy, that was at the bottom area of the Hill, I moved my John Deere lawn mower into the quonset hut for the winter as well. Tomorrow we are going to clean out the box van at the Hill so I can get that gone before snow flies. I also got the OK to get rid of a boat, the salvage yard will take it unprepared, no cost, no prep on my end, I told him he could have it and I will be glad to get it gone.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't that stuff weigh just shy of 2 tons a yard? So about 47 yards? How many trips. I'll post up my fun soon, hopefully tomorrow.

I think it is just a tad bit over 3000 depending on moisture content and physical make up of the material. It was three trips with his bigger truck and two with the little one.

Only got a coating of snow at the Hill, just enough to cover the lawn and the windshields. Hopefully Sunday into Monday will be a wash as well. That should give me enough time to get things to the point that I can at least plow without having to weave around obstacles.
