yes the ice was real pretty this morning, and i was real glad there was no wind. we had a good thick coat that would have been dropping trees in even low winds.

I am transferring oil at the Hill, been getting colder and the heat has been running more frequently, didn’t want to chance running out of the holiday.

Almost done, cheap eBay pump works well, I need to set it up better, technically I need to install the steel tank I bought this spring.

Well I didn’t need heat at that point, then I was busy, then I had the Rona, then I was scrambling to beat the snow. I am generally on the one to two decade plan anyways.

I did get to talk to the guy that is going to put an “actual cash value” on Perk, we went over the specs and he asked a bunch bunch of questions about tires and the knuckle boom crane. He admitted that it is going to be hard to pull a value from comps due to the mileage. I guess I need to see what I can find for recent sold vehicles with similar specs.

As long as you have a plan you are ahead of most people.

NC is an ACV state and I hate it. You have to buy an extra replacement value coverage if you want it.

Late start this morning, I have to get to the bank and also need to sand the skating rink at the Salvage Garage. After that I need to wrap some presents and head to the MIL's house for festivities. I am not doing anything for Christmas except relaxing............

or so I think.

I hear you on the paper work. Spent the morning putting together a schedule for the week. Work is work, it all needs to be done. Keep up the good job.

I am headed to the Salvage Garage to plow and pick up some deliveries, I will be curious to see how much snow is still there. Grabbing lunch now, will report back later.

I didn’t finish plowing at the Hill, I had a ride to get the ramp truck, then I wanted to get the SG plowed, I spent about three hours so far, some of that is driving time. It doesn’t matter much if you have an couple inches or a foot, seems to be an all day process if I plow the tower site too.

86, the Bumble was from an old set of toys, I have a bunch of them still, but he is our favorite.

I thought Maine is known for cold winters with lots of snow? Strouty has been talking about it just starting to snow there and talking about the ground surface not being frozen.

Our winters vary, this is going to be a sloppy one, snow, rain, freeze, warm, repeat. It ***** when this happens, at least if you plow a non paved road or surface.

We haven't had a average cold winter in years, although in Bangor the temps are less than 1 degree above the average for December this year. We did get snow yesterday and driving on Rte 9 from downeast was a real joy. There was one semi in the ditch and one that jackknifed on a straight stretch blocking all but the shoulder on one side. Lucky I got around him, cops got there as I was going around him.

No don't think anyone has a "normal" winter any more. We used to start getting cold temps in late November, snow in early December, and that's the way it would stay until early March. Now we get wild temp swings all winter long. 2*F one day, 4 days later, 40*F. It actually makes it harder because you can never adjust.
