I was thinking I was going to assemble it all tomorrow.

;)

I need to do a bit of cleaning for sure, the only reason it is so stuffed is that it is going to be raining for most of the weekend and I didn’t want to leave Guido outside to get all iced up. I was also thinking I may try and cut grooves in the racing slick tires to get some much needed traction.

I was considering the same for my cushion tire machine but figured it would dig its own grave faster in the “soft” months
I need a compactor

Luckily I still have things that are on the way, so at least it will feel like I bought something, that sounds bad, but it is reality.

Next week I should have the gooseneck hitch for the F-350 company truck, probably be a bit before it gets installed since I had to put the sander back in with all this rain we are bound to end up with a really icy road again.

My plan for this weekend is pretty fluid, I am going to try and get all the tires out of the quonset hut and over to the Salvage Garage, I pretty much have the saddle shop trailer dedicated to tires and wheels right now. The biggest hurdle is the fact that the quonset hut is really plugged up and I have to do some shuffling.

Last year I bought a bunch of trailer things that need to be installed, I would love to get the little dump trailer reworked so that it has the 2 5/16" ball rather than the 2", plus I bought a new jack for it. Big issue is I do not have enough room to get it inside yet, so welding in the rain would be a bit complicated and maybe a little dangerous.....

No buying didn't last long, I bought some IBC tote caps and then some full top drain pans for them. Oh well, at least these things will be useful essentially immediately.

He already has plenty of those. What he needs is an operating engine and transmission to pair with the good bodies he has in stock.

There are a couple in better shape that are closer, I am going to hold off for a couple weeks, my wallet hurts from Christmas and the extra money I have spent on parts for Perk. Once I get the insurance dealt with, then I will be up for a bit of spending, will have to order the frame rails and crossmembers for Perk 4x4 (or maybe just Perk 4.0). I am cleaning up some things outside at the Hill, moved stuff around inside so I think I can actually get the small dump trailer inside. I am going to try and put the oil fired furnace in the Quonset hut as well, then the only other thing I need to do with Clark is to get the extendable army trailer out of the way for plowing snow. I may try and bring Clark back to the SG after that, I was thinking I could try and put as much of the new Stak Rack on one of the flatbed trailers, then it will be out of the way and off the ground. The uprights can go on top of the conex box, so maybe next week the SG will be back to normal for plowing.

It is still about 40 outside, 100% humidity, but not raining. I have been a bit motivated, but it is running out. I need to finish unloading the tires, then I am headed home, maybe tomorrow won’t be a total washout and I can get some more stuff done.

Say good bye to the frost in driveway again. Hopefully we won't get much snow on the coast tonight.

Eating some brunch now (missed breakfast), Perl and Clark are both set and ready to go, I hope it doesn’t rain too bad, it is cold enough that being wet will ****.

As Uncle Willie says, you are chipping away at it so that's positive. (y)
How heavy are those uprights, also what is the load rating for the rail / hoist setup?

Uprights aren’t too bad, I can pick one up and move it, probably around 100 pounds.

Rail capacity is 2000 pounds, that is also what the shelves are rated for, you can put up to 25k pounds per bay, so plenty of capacity.

I got the rest of the uprights on top of the Conex, I am soaked now, but I really want to finish moving the shelves onto the trailer before I leave. I would have had a heck of a time without the remote for the knuckle boom.
