I think my system has some pretty dry air, I will have to run some tests again, but the condensation is all gone by the time the air gets to the the last drop leg, at least that is how I remember things.
As for duty cycle, the 65 will run 50% duty cycle at 65 amps and 100% at 46 amps, I am not sure what that equates to in thickness of the steel, but it has to be darn close to 100% for 1/2".
the 65 series is rated to cut 1" steel, so I suspect it will use more amperage to pierce the steel, then back the amp draw down to actually cut it.
Regardless, I am going to buy the smaller plasma cutter for now, then if I need to I will upgrade and the smaller one will go to the Hill. I am just hoping to do this so it doesn't hurt quite as much, $1500 is $1500 or a couple more Burbs.......
