It was open bar, but selection was less than stellar.

Pulled pork issue was a serious disappointment on my end too.

I have to fix some things around the house today, garbage disposal started to leak, same sink has an issue with the faucet, so we will upgrade the whole thing. I have been cleaning out the attic trying to make room for winter clothes, I don't know where all the extra stuff came from, but man the attic is stuffed full.

It was definitely me, I think it was all the garlic and onions that they cooked it in. I had some steak kabobs that had onions next to the steak, I removed the onions before I cooked the steak and I could still taste it.

I did a lot of cleaning, I am going to try and swap out the disposal today, I didn't have enough energy left to do it last night. I still have way too much stuff to get done in the time that I have to do it, so I guess I will have to wing it again this week.

Strouty, on the sandblaster, i have found it helps on clogs if you just put your gloved hand over the nozzle and pull the trigger. Frees it right up and you don't need to drop whatever you're blasting and grab the air nozzle. In case you haven't seen that done.

I haven't tried that trick, I will give it a shot, I have to finish blasting the trailer rims this week. I also found my paint spray gun, so I can do a bit better paint job than with the rattle can. I plan on using rust oleum, but with Japan drier, reducer, and hardener, should make for a tougher topcoat than the rims that went on the auction trailer.

I've got a full set of tandem dually rims to paint and can't decide on powder coating or paint. Painting seems a lot easier, but i have over 200 in sandblasting the rims. What's japan paint?

Paint them. Easier to touch up when they get scratched and they'll be easier to refinish years from now.

Japan Drier, it is something that speeds up the drying process significantly (I guess), I think it is for oil based products, but I am not sure.

Powder coating is great if you have perfect base material, all it takes is one rust bubble and then the powder coating is compromised.

I have been involved in several sets of powder coated wheels, if you lived in Arizona, I would say go for it, but I know where you live and winter won't be kind. If they were new wheels and you were asking this, I mights say go for the powder coating, but wheels that have already been exposed to a winter or two are never going to be the same.

I have a bump stop screwed to my bottom screen. When the gun clogs, I just press it against the rubber stop, and pull the trigger. Saves wear n tear on gloves.

Today I headed to the office to get some work done, except the power company had just pulled in, they put a new pole in the other day and today was the swap over day. They told me about an hour with no power, but that was three and a half hours ago. I guess I am going to have to give up for the day, I have been slowly doing things through mobile apps, but I need to print out checks and stuff that isn’t as easy to do on a phone. I can do a bank run, so I guess I will get something done, tomorrow is going to be an early day and a long one. Heat pump is schedule to go in at the Camp and I have to be there, going to move a few things around and try to get things done up there, then head to the Salvage Garage and do some more on the Muv-All trailer. If I play my cards right, I may be able to use it by July.

Didn’t even touch the trailer. Got things moved at the Camp, figured things out with the HVAC install, then headed to my house to pick up a lawnmower and the snowblower, then headed to the Hill to unload things. After that, it was off to the Salvage Garage, all the sand blast cabinet parts arrived, so I messed with that. We decided to mount a vise to my welding bench, then fixed another vise/clamp that holds steel in the Ellis bandsaw. Got to use the bandsaw for the first time in a while, the new vise/clamp was a huge upgrade over the original one. We cut some parts to size for the waste oil tanks, then we loaded the ramp truck with the tanks, furnace, and the container I was dumping all the crappy oil into. Friday may not be so good weather wise, so we plan on working on things at the Hill for the first part of the day, then we will see what the weather brings. I have to pick up another 104 of those black totes, probably have enough of them now, but they are nice to have and the price is right, so I just can’t help myself.

Don't worry, I am not buying it.

I am going to New Hampshire tomorrow to pick up a tool box/cart thingy, it is made by Knaack and is essentially a roll around work bench with storage under it. I think it will fit the bill for the SG, really lacking on storage for the tools now that I have brought things to the Hill. I did pick up the totes, didn't really get much done today, but I did a lot of running around that needed to be done anyways. In case you were wondering what 104 totes looks like, well this is what they look like.

I love using totes like that, when I can. I bought 4 at an estate sale, and my sister stole them to store non-perishable food on the breezeway because her pantry is too small. I had to settle for her old Rubbermaid totes that deform when stacked.

Those totes are all branded U-Line ones, but they are still pretty durable, I suspect a drop from a couple feet in the winter and they will still break, but that doesn't happen too often.

I went on a mercy mission for the Knaack box, turned out that the guy I went to see was part of a company I used to buy things from all the time, I now have his contact info and I am sure there will be more trips to New Hampshire. I bought a bunch of bins from him as well, I was out $400 for everything, then I put $125 worth of **** me fuel into Dad's truck, still feels like a great deal, the Knaack box is over $3k new. Worst part is I don't have time to load it up, I have to head back to the office to see if the carpenter needs anymore help. We did spend the morning moving things around so that the wood shop was a lot more open and useful, that felt good. I still have some more cleaning to do, but it should be a lot better than it was a couple weeks ago.

Sounds like a screaming deal, I would have a hard time passing that up. That box looks virtually brand new, considering the environments it's designed for. WIN!
