Last night it was a blast of water. I couldn't get him to settle down and he wouldn't stop shaking the cage at 2AM, I had already fed him, so as he shook the cage, I sprayed water on him, took three times, but he stopped and we are still friends as of this morning.

Yesterday was office work and phone calls, today I have to install the other dock at the Camp, not sure how well it is going to go, but I hope it can be done in one day. Chuck will be attending, hopefully he won't be a dink.

Chuck is down, we rastled for a good hour. He will play with the stuffed animals now. Hopefully when he gets up to eat, he goes back to sleep like last night, then I fall asleep again too. I have to be up early tomorrow and would enjoy a few hours of shut eye.

I think he will need a few more weeks before being completely weened, but he is starting to eat more and more greens and other things. We are definitely working on it.

Today is going to be cleanup of a bunch of little things in preparation for Sunday’s trip to get the Connecticut loader. There will be lots of little things and I am sure things that I hadn’t thought of. I just drove the Army Dump to my Buddy’s shop, he is going to service it so we can move some dirt at his house. Drive it for 30 minutes and it isn’t even at 180 degrees, love it.

Well, In a series of unfortunate events, Chuck got out of his cage and the front door was open, so he got outside, I think I know where he is, but he doesn’t want to cooperate. This may be a hope he is resilient enough to survive situation, I am slightly distraught at this point. :(

At least it isn’t fall or winter, he has the best chance to make it where he is, so my fingers are crossed. Worst problem is, they all look the same, so unless he recognizes me, it will really just be another ground hog.

He wasn’t waiting for me at the door step. :(

I am pretty sure I saw him again this morning, may have to setup a camera to try and confirm.

I am cleaning up the shop at the Hill a bit, I need to find some parts I bought, so I figured I would start cleaning, so far I have unearthed a bunch of things. I have also organized about five of five hundred drawers.

I ordered some stainless steel wire to insert into the outer fender flare lip, it should help hold the shape, the driver’s side is going to be done a bit differently, we will cut the flare at a 45 where the hood and fender meet. The flare material I bought is a bit different than the factory stuff, it did not sit well on the lip of the hood, so we moved it inboard where it was flat. I will have to cut off the extra 2” of fiberglass to make it look right. Should be a nice fit in the end, especially since I have much larger tires, having a bigger opening seems like a no brainer.

He found me, I had to get call him and he came over to me, then when I picked him up he snuggled on my chest almost instantly. He has not eaten much for the last 36 hours, he was starving, then he crashed, he has been sleeping for a few hours now. Over the next week I am going to have to setup a couple larger enclosures for him the be in, it is clear he wants more room, but also clear he isn't able to be completely on his own. A friend that raises rabbits said that they will too the runts or sickly ones out, so my theory that his siblings are much larger may have some truth to it. That would explain why the mother never seemed to look for him. Regardless, I am not going to make the same mistake twice, Chuck is going to be safe from here on out.

3:45 AM, he seems to have settled down again. He has a Chew toy that he seems to like, it is like pumice stone or something, but he was chewing on it. That will help grind his teeth down, they grow constantly. I am going to try and get some more sleep, I have to be up at 5.

I am up, need to get ready to go and pick up a couple more forklift ramps, going to cut them up and use them on the Muv-All trailer. I am almost ready for the first loader pickup, I am going to leave really early Sunday morning for that. I will have to update everyone on all the things that we did to Perk, installed new mirrors and prepped for the wiring, they are all heated and the main mirrors are power adjusting too.
