I'd be happy to try and break them. My old 3/8ths set from the seventies refuses to break.Still looks pretty good too. Still looking for that 20mm bolt to try my free stubby on though.

please sign me up!

i haven't bought many SK tools in recent years. i have an old 1/4" ratchet+socket set of theirs I keep in my portable box. and I bought a 14mm allen socket used for BMW drain plugs, but that was during the time of SK Facom and I think it was more a Facom tool than it was a SK one.

SK had a factory 20 miles from my house until 20 years ago. Kennedy is 20 miles the other way...at least they're still running strong.

Sign me up. I miss those green metal boxes.

Edit: Just checked a SK 45179 and even with the 40% off it's still less on Amazon and free shipping.

An SK 3/8", standard length metric socket set (in the green metal box) was my first serious tool purchase and is still in primary use - this was ~ 1972! Quality tools. I would be proud to win one to win one of the giveaway sets. Thanks to GGJ/SK for the opportunity.

My first set of tools were SK. In 1965 i got a job at Mel’s 66 in Quincy,IL. Mel ask if I had any tools I told him no, he told me I had to have my own tools to work at a service station. Mel bought me a small set of SK tools in the same little green box that you are giving away. He took $2.00 a week out my check until they were pay for. Those were some of the best tools I ever used.

Growing up on the farm Dad always had SK tools and we had to drive to another town 50 miles away to get them. Man we abused those tools and they were up for the task.
