Facom also has a yellow fluorescent for some tools, they become more visible with an ultraviolet light. Does Snapon use the same method ??

I am not a fan of yellow but hi-viz yellow just really speaks to me. All my Snap-on hard handle ratchets are the hi-viz yellow. Even have the bottle opener for those really tough jobs.

was Hi Viz a limited run like some of the other colors or just that popular that it’s frequently sold out? I’ve found a few items and still looking for some others.

I will NEVER buy Snap-On brand tools. Great quality. Too expensive for a DIYer.

I am having to turn small tools/accessories into "Hi Viz" by adding red or yellow tape (or in some case red with a thin yellow stripe). I keep losing things like 1/4" grinder arbors and adapters because they are partially obscured or mixed with other similar color tools/accessories. TOW has bad eye. Today, I could not find my razor knife on top of my bench. Too much clutter !

I have become obsessed with Scotch 35 colored electrical tape ! I have about 8-10 colors. (Granddaughters line pink and purple. Got 'em ! Their brothers like blue and green. Got 'em !) The wife asked for brown the other day. I did not have it, but now I do !

Wow, mechanics have turned into Fashionistas.

How name did vintage mechanics get stuff done with just black or chrome stuff?
Ask how many have lost stuff they’ve left in or on vehicles. Any little bit to help prevent leaving something behind of making it easier to spot, helps. In another world, leave a pen behind in a jet engine and see what happens… Or a flashlight in the entry of a passenger aircraft when the FAA comes a callin….

I don't know, I am not an aircraft mechanic, but somehow they got it done. I have a system to put things back. I use it at the end of doing something. I hate trying to find something the next week, it much easier to find it at the time.,

Yep. My contention is just that the high visibility colors help find it faster.

High Vis and a house full of girls who like to "fix" things makes finding my stuff easier when it gets borrowed.
