Working on my shop project today, and got into the task I’ve been carefully avoiding which is sorting through several decades worth of acquired domestic detritus. After clearing a shelf of various forgotten gardening accessories, I noticed something shiny toward the back……

I was surprised to find a brand new set of Husky (USA) “ratcheting” open end wrenches. Extra surprising in that I don’t remember ever having purchased them, but premature senility does run rampant around here. I can’t wait to see what else I turn up!!

Around here this is called another round of how to hide (fill in the blank) from your spouse and really hiding it. It goes both ways. Before we moved often enough the surprises were only a couple of years old. Since we have stayed in the same house for 15 years we are wondering what we will find when we move again. May better be stated found by the kids when we have to move.

Yesterday I found a bag of rocker trim clips that have been MIA for about a month. They were grabbed and ready for the rocker strip install the day I lost them. Spent 2 hours looking before I finally went upstairs and grabbed another set. But that SHTuff happens when you get old... As I am learning more and more everyday :ROFLMAO:

I’ve now also found a small Ford thermostat housing that I don’t remember buying and a brand new set of ARP flywheel bolts.

I need to get cleaning to find the keys for my abandoned truck lol. I always find tools I forgot about. Like I have this really cheap set of needle nose that was my road set that my dog had knocked off once found it in a completely different location a year later lol. I said oh dang here is those pliers with the comfy grips but cheap I had completely forgotten about them and hadn’t thought about them since she had knocked them off lol. Maybe she is like my other dog was and likes to carry my tools away like they are toys lol.
