My '69 ford torino has been sitting over at dads for about 10 years, I finally got my shop built last summer and brought it over last fall on our trailer. Got it running finally tonight, lots more work to do, brakes etc. but for some reason an old small block sounds way better than a new one. A little tlc and maybe I can drive it some this summer, then the real work can begin this fall.

Yeah, let's see it. :) I had a '69 Torino GT notchback in college 30 years ago. It was a good old car but rust finally killed it.

My dad has a 68 Torino 390 2bbl C6 in original condition. That thing is gorgeous. He also has its cousin, a 69 Mercury Cyclone that he put a 460 in. That is going to be his play car.

I came home from the hospital in dad's 69 Torino. Black, with red interior, 302. Rusted out, like pretty much all late 60s/early 70s Fords in the salt belt. It was the last Ford he ever owned. It was replaced by a 75 Malibu...

Looks like it pee'd itself!

I love fixing up old cars - cleaning up and painting all the parts, stopping rust, making them purrrr.... Good luck!!

Wow! That will be an awesome project! I recognize the bleeding from beneath the car too. It seems that every project car I have bleeds uncontrollably.

I look forward to your Torino build up!

68/69 Fairlane/Torino's are my love! I haven't had one in several years, but plan on another one soon.

I grew up in the back of a 68' Fairlane, 351 cleveland, 4 on the floor, a bad *** car. Got in my blood. My dad's daily driver was a 69' Fastback Torino GT.
