Snap-on has re-branded Stride retaining ring pliers as Snap-on in the past that were exactly the same as Craftsman (and others). More recently though, they were selling them branded Blue Point.

Both of you guys are right. Snap-on actually sells a Strand rebrand version and more recently they are making their own. I got both in my box. Both are excellent the newer snappy made ones have more snappy plier type handles and are bigger.

I dont think SO and stant are the same tester. Atleast not from what I have seen. My dad has a SO coolant pressure tester that is very old and still works great. I have a stant that has been a POS almost as long as I have had it, a guy I work with has one to and its also a POS. I now have a SO tester.

That's the cheaper set.

I bought their super duper 13 piece set for $275 last week, they seem to be made in house, not outsourced.

Here they are:

I thought Wilde made every pair of snap ring pliers ever? Probably not, but they do make:

This could go on and on. The Proto J360B, SK 7612, and Wilde 537/MC are all the same 12 piece sets.

Pretty much every retaining ring plier, either in sets or individuals are OEM'd by Wilde.

Was interested in a Bearing and Race Driver Set, thought about just going with HF, but did some digging and found that Tooltopia has the same set that Snap-On & Matco sell, for $5 more than the HF set.

Trusty Cook does NOT make dead blows for Snap-on anymore

They do make dead blows for Matco and Estwing, and possibly Mac (I cant confirm that)

The new Snappy dead blows are much higher quality than the old Trusty Cook design IMHO

Are those holders used for t-handles only? Or would they work good for L-keys? I could use a good holder for all my loose L-keys.

They should work for just about anything, though I was talking to my father about his rack and he was complaining because the hex keys "key" into the holder. If you have multiple brands of T-handles, and they use different clocks of the hex, they may bump into each other and not fit well. He had a bunch of Vaco T-handles, and they were 30° off from everything else, so they didn't fit in the rack very well, and he didn't like the rack. He got his from McMaster, but they are definitely the same items.

I would think that isn't an issue with loose L-keys, just based on the simple bends on the flats they all have.
