I don't understand what you're trying to say. The tools are obviously different, the packaging is obviously different. Seems clear to me that at minimum, they're different models from the same manufacturer; but more likely totally different tools from completely different manufacturers.

Im 99% sure that Irwin makes the taps and dies in Mac, Matco, and Snap On kits. So save a bunch by getting it right through Irwin.

The big 3 used to get this from Hanson, whoever they are now.

yeah it is. BTW I bought these in a Kastar box from Sears with that wacky 7/32" pass through socket loophole for like $42. They're nice enough and probably equivalent to the old Blue Point sets.

I believe it is made by Wilde part number 250DF. The set I have is made in the USA.
