Saw this article and was just blown away with what this guy built! What kid wouldn't want to visit their Grandpa if he had a roller coaster in his back yard.

That's awesome and talk about timing. I've been tasked with building one for my grandson and been putting a bunch of thought into.

Wow, that is really cool! I'm surprised the PVC pipe holds together that well in the turns, without flexing & spreading apart.
Pretty neat, for sure.

I am sure the idea took a little bit but it looks easy to build. I wonder how much was simple section built and twisted in place, maybe tighten screws when done? Some may need special angles, not sure would have to see and engineer may even be able to do the hole layout skewed down the twists?
A guy could stick it in place, silicone the pipe joints to the wood, come back and snug the screws/ It would be near a weld and keep it from working loose. I can see using some adhesive in the joinery once it was set?
