Eh its just a collection of memorbilia and a couple cars.....not impressed

Elroy is NOT surprised hearing a comment like that from someone who drives and thinks a Scion is cool.

Have you ever been for a ride in a Hemi car? If you had then you wouldn't make statments like that because they are truly IMPRESSIVE automobiles.

IMHO a Scion is not impressive at all, in any form or aspect.

Some of those cars are 36 years old. Wonder what your Scion will look like in 18.

Got that oil filter off yet Dinky Dew? Or are you still looking for that special SK tool designed specifically for the ultra low performance Scion?

Don't mean to burn you too bad, but my opinion counts just as much as yours.

Elroy is not impressed with a Scion but them thar Mopar cars ROCK my man.

Edited for accuracy.

Agreed. Some of those signs were so big, I originally thought the pictures were of a diarama the owner made.

Yeah, I'm no mopar fan, but that is truely impressive. That's not a collection, it's a museum.

I think it's safe to assume he is, or was, a Chrysler dealer.

My understanding is that all the cars seen in the photos are one-off Chrysler prototype "show cars" from the 60s and early 70s. If any of you guys collect any stuff like this, you can understand the nearly impossible difficulty and expense it would take to locate and put all this stuff together. The memorabilia alone has value in the millions of dollars. By the way, I also heard that the NOS Schwinn bikes in the collection cost more than the cars did. :scared:

This is certainly one of those collections where the phrase "if I have to explain, you wouldn't understand" applies. I collect vintage automotive memorabilia myself, and can easily say its the most impressive collection I have ever seen.

That was my first thougth. The more you look, the more you realize that is simply an amazing collection. I am not a Mopar fan either, but I am appreciative and amazed by the collection he has put together.

He spent years hunting those cars down. They were all a part of the Rapid Transit promo that was going on around 1970 .The Diamante is rumored to be the first production hemi cuda taken from assembly line stock.PRICELESS!!!! They were all one off protypes built for autorama and cross country promos , which afterwards were all shelved and stored in strange spots and some sold or lost until he found them. This is not even the complete collection as the rest of it rivals what is posted. Some were found in warehouses , one in a barn and the duster was found in cold storage in a parking garage in detroit .Sat there for 25 years .He did a great service for auto enthusiast when he set off to collect these cars . It is a collection than anyone who love automobiles can appreciate . Hell , the vin tag on that Diamante alone is worth more than a dozen Scions, LOL . thanx for posting this . swaZZie
