The USAC is no longer in business. If you find any information, post it. I am currently building a compressor with an old usac pump.

My step father worked at US Air Compressor during high school summer vacations in the 1930's and his father worked there his whole adult life. The attached pic is a compressor my S/F made while working there. About the only thing it's good for is filling tires and the grandkids swimming pool but I just can't bring myself to get rid of it.
BTW the old US Air Compressor Co building now houses Blue Coral Inc

I have been to the mentioned website. Doesn't look like they can supply parts, but I may be wrong. I own a 1951 model with a 1.5 hp motor that still puts up 175 psi. Got it for nothing from a closed service station. If you are a mechanic and really want to do an OH, piston rings can be made at a reliable machine shop and the cylinders could be sleeved if the pistons are in good shape. Knowing the crankshaft throw sizes, inserts might be an option for decreasing clearance if there is excessive clearance. Rods might need to be machined to accommodate the inserts if there is room. I know a company in Corpus Christi, TX that might be able to help with repair parts, Air Specialty, but do not know their phone number. Guess you could look it up online. Hope this helps with any issues you might have. Remember that these are all "old school" type repairs.
